Why is everyone (everyone) leaking the same information then? you probably have at least 5/6 different sources telling you something? and you choice not to believe any of them.
Final GPU should be in the beta dev kit according to official documents.

Its not a melt down its the same story every day different toilet same shit no proof no source no facts its just baseless information because no one has any info on what msoft is doing i just hate negative press especially pro sony editors who create negative xbox rumors 24 seven.
There's a good chance Durango may be cheaper if Kinect 2 doesn't add much cost and Sony can't eat the extra manufacturing cost of the PS4 for their initial launch price.

Everyone is not telling us the same thing, bgassassin and aegies has said different, same with proelite, but everyone is going by these documents from last year from superDae who has said the console has been upgraded. It seems like you guys only believe him for negative news, not for good news.

Of course they are, 1.2TF is nothing to sneeze at. The GPU's in the Alpha dev kits sure were powerful but thats because they were off the shelf parts.

Here people in Neogaf have the docs too, Thuway ( and Reiko? ) for example that said ESRAM was half the transistors of a 680GTX.
It says so in the very document :/ whats in the dev kits.
But of course if you wish to believe that microsoft can magically conjure up a console in days go a head and believe it, but this will be the nth time that I have said this, any changes would have mean Beta Dev kits later this year, not last month.
It takes months and months and months of work to design a motherboard, a GPU and a cooling system and then produce them.
You seem to think that they fall out of the sky when you want them.
How I wish anything had 24xAA!

I'm sure it will be cheaper, you know, if you don't count the compulsory 2 year Xbox Live Gold contract at $15 a month. Or the $22 a month Comcast is charging you to use it as your cable box.
But if all those people have those old leaked offcial documents? Sure, you can say nothing changed but still - all those people may have documents dated February 2012...

Yes, and said too that so the final games would be downgraded on going from a 7970 ( that suppossely was there to simulate the ESRAM and move engines effect ) in the alpha kits to Durango´s final GPU ( 32 CUs vs 12 final CUs ).

Sure, but again if those suggested anything particularly divergent from the current rumors we'd have some leaks coming out.
Its too late in the game for 3rd party teams not to be in the know to at least some degree here. The fact that VGLeaks and EDGE are on the same page with no other leaks challenging their claims paints a pretty clear picture, in my opinion.
Sony's solution is pretty streamlined and stock design. The biggest cost for all of this is R&D and lower yield production at the outset of a generation.
Given that MS is going with a more heavily customized GPU that includes ESRAM it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that MS' R&D costs have been higher than Sony's.
Also, the big elephant in the room for X720 cost is Kinect 2.0. How much did it take up on the bill of materials?
Then we get into the discussion on who's willing to lose money on their hardware. Both historically have, but while Sony will likely continue to lose at least a little per unit (recouped via games) will MS? They have new management and have shown some of the same hubris that led to Sony's "$599" cock up. They also see their major competitors (Apple, namely) selling all their hardware at a profit. There are a lot of unknown variables in MS at this point.

I have nothing to play I just beat god of war 3 im waiting for ascension and naruto and bioshock to ship to my house before i have new games to play and my nba 2k league is only night games so i have time to rant lol and stop these idiotic rumors in their tracks

I know dev kits use off-the-shelf parts to simulate the performance of the final console, but that makes no sense. A 7970 destroys the GPU that is meant to be going in to Durango.

Well, Sony pretty much shocked everybody with the 8 GB. So, anything is possible at this point.

Dude youre basing your opinion on a yr old document I keep telling you dev cycle is not even what it was last gen its not the same even at the sony press conference most of that stuff being played was on pc which is why they didn't show the console because it doesn't exist physically yet if you thing msoft had final dev kits out a yr ago the system should be out like now because ms first party would have had them 1 yr six months according to your logic and that makes absolutely no sense.
8GB of ram is trivial compared to a new CPU or GPU.
It would be nice if you took the time to comprehend my posts and also to use some writing skill.
I said beta dev kits with near final silicon with final GPU were out last month, not last year.

It's not exactly trivial when it's a closed platform like a console.
If the current rumored specs hold, no, the gap will be significantly larger than last generation.
Last generation the PS3 was slightly more processing power overall but was skewed to the CPU side which is a non-traditional arrangement for PC devs (who dominated the generation). Xbox 360 had a better GPU, more overall memory, a smaller OS out of the gate, and a unified core memory pool while the PS3 had it's memory pool split.
This was a pluses and negatives exchange between the two systems with none of the gaps being massively far apart, but enough for it to produce different results.
Now given current rumors the PS4 has:
significantly more memory bandwidth (176GB/s v. 68GB/s + ~100GB/s ESRAM)
more memory available overall (8GB - 512MB for OS v. 8GB - 1.5GB or more for OS)
significantly more powerful GPU (approximately 50% across the board)
the same CPU (and that's assuming the most recent 2Ghz CPU clock speeds for PS4 are false).
The PS4 is at worst in parity with the rumored specs for the next Xbox, and in some cases as much as 50% better. It also has no readily apparent bottlenecks or obtuse design choices to trip developers up, and it allows very close to the metal coding. Either the rumors about the next Xbox aren't true or the PS4 will have a tangible advantage in performance.

A new cpu or gpu that i repeat we know nothing about everyone is taking the orbis rumor and basing it on durango because they are using similar companies like amd fact is Microsoft hired all those ibm engineers for a reason to custom build their chip so just wait till the official reveal.
It is with 1gb, 2gb and 4gb chips.

Official microsoft documents say that the GPU is 12CU's at 800mhz and GCN. (AMD).
