[VIDEO] Skater knocks down kid; kid's mom steps in and punches him

I swear at ~11 seconds into the video you hear someone in the background shout "Tina, punch him in the face" twice. Like, directly after the accident. Was it the mum egging on the (calm) woman who first picks up the child? She doesn't punch the skater so the mum does instead?

Also, how stupid do you have to be to let a little kid run around a skate park?

Even if it's petty, he should go to the police. There'll be no serious consequences, but it might make the mum stop and think about hitting people - pull that shit with the wrong person and that kid may grow up without a mother.
 
I came into this video thinking the skater was being an asshole, i witness the complete opposite effect, the skater should charge her, fuck that lady, she was probably looking to fight anyone that even gets near her son
 
He should've cracked her skull with his skateboard right in front of her kid.




..Just kidding. This is stupid, I don't understand why she reacts so violently.

It's a goddamn skatepark. You'd think there would be people skating around there and you should supervise your kid.

Bloody hell woman, have some self control. The skater dude was being remorseful and you had to go and escalate the situation instead.

Wasn't even his fault in the first place. Shiet.

Also teaching your kid straight up that violence is the answer to your problems. Great parenting right there.

Gets up and stands nearby, while the mother approaches from offscreen. She makes physical contact with the skater at 0:29.

A full 24 seconds to reach the site, yet only 3 seconds to escalate from a shove to a punch. Doesn't even try to talk it out or listen to him. Better get Judge Dredd on this case.

Wow, watching that gif, you can see that when the skater and the kid collide he positions himself so that he does not fall on top of the kid and rolls out of the way.

Edit: I think my obsession stems from this skater dude looking exactly like my cousin. He is a skater, has a pony tail, same dress etc.

That woman is crazy. It's almost like she KNEW him and was just waiting for the opportunity to hit him.

I wished the skater had punched the mom. If for no other reason to teach the kid that punching people in the face can have certain consequences.
 
Old me would have wanted to knock this bitch out the second I saw that punch connect. The new me wonders how that kid didn't duck it first, but mad props he kept his cool after that shit. Wish I saw how it all ended

Some women think they're allowed to hit men and that they aren't allowed to hit back. Escalating this with a whack from the skateboard is a bit much though. :P I think the skater handled this as appropriately as he could've.

Not only that, but many bystanders are also afraid of stopping a girl who is assaulting others. I was reading some comments about that drunk chick beating the older Sikh man in the UK. Many said they'd have tried to stop her, but wouldn't know how.

I'm seeing it more and more, women think they are allowed to hit men and be safe from reprisal.

If I was the skateboard dude, I'd have called the cops in an instant and pressed charges against her.

Pretty much the kind of society we're living in right now. And we can't do shit about it without being called sexist.

Heads I win, tails you lose kinda situation for men when it happens. The only way to "win" in this game that's been rigged is to do nothing. Like what the skater dude in the situation did, and it earned him the sympathy and support of the internet and forumites of GAF, so he comes up on top.
 
I accidentally knocked down a kid when I was little and his mom came out and tried to choke me to death - scared the piss out of me. Yeah, that shit's not cool. You can't just go around exacting vengeance on people if they're no threat to you.

Genuine accident, guy adjusted his body and was apologetic. Seems like a horrible person and mother for those 4 seconds that she appeared.
 
What a fucking skank. I hope he sues her. The kid should have never been there in the first place, but it doesn't even matter. The skater did not deserve this one bit.
 
Thought process while watching - "She looks pretty calm, she's just tending to her kid. She doesn't look like she's going to escalate into violence. Oh, wait... that's not the Mum..."

Somehow I doubt she even saw her kid run into the skater and she's just assuming he's in the wrong. Her knee jerk reaction is gross and she needs to see the error of her ways :/

Edit: It's not even a knee-jerk reaction. You can see how far she marches up to him looking for a fight.
 
her kid runs right in the path of a guy on a skateboard, in what looks like a skate park, and assaults the guy who did nothing wrong

she's a piece of shit and an awful parent
