Videos of crazy nature/natural events

Imagine you are out walking in the middle of that. I hate hail anyways, but man, that would hurt like hell. Those poor cars, too.

Crows problem solving is always entertaining, goes like this in the vid -

drop nuts on concrete from height, inefficient
drop nuts on road to be crushed, dangerous to recover
drop nuts on pedestrian crossing, better wait for the cars to stop

It's nuts they observe, assimilate and adapt to all that.

Well there goes an hour of my life. This thread is awesome.

this killer mushroom infects ants and grows out of its head and infects other ants.. the other ants says "fuck this guy" and takes him way out of the colony so it doesn't infect others.

The last of us in real life. Wild.

I used to storm chase eons ago and studied meteorology as a minor. Have any idea what State this is in? I grew up in the plains but this looks flatter like Texas maybe?
Could be anywhere in the middle west & plains I feel like. I see storms like this from time to time in my location.

It's actually good to see such impressive and sometimes scary phenomena to realize how insignificant and vulnerable we all are. I often do to view my own issues with a sense of measured perspective...

The Bolton Strid is an innocuous-looking stream, outwardly, that is actually an extremely deep river that is funneling tons of water into a wider river upstream. It's downward current is so strong that it has a 100% lethality rate for anyone getting into the stronger parts.

They've never been able to map it or figure out how deep it is.

it's amazing how after all the 'canes they get they haven't developed a smarter architecture to deal with the high winds.. so many cheap, lightweight, nailed down roofs with scoops for the wind to get underneath.. maybe the owners deliberately go cheap to collect when the storms hit lol
