You're mad.
F*ck LCDs. Cannot wait until they eventually disappear. The worst technology for gaming that survives simply because people don't know any better. LCDs are the Toyota Camry of display technology. Reliable, cheap, but lacking in all areas of performance.
Seeing people bash oled and then turn around to praise LCD technology makes my head hurt.
It's unbelievable how effective marketing can be.
LCD has:
-awful response time meaning the pixels can't keep up changing color fast enough which means the image will blur really badly when a scene changes fast
CRT, plasma and oled all don't suffer from this problem, lcd is simply unfit to display fast panning scenes ( highly common in videogames, highly uncommon in tv or movie scenes which is why many people don't know).
-extremely poor and inaccurate contrast, the pixels don't emit their own light but light is passed through them from behind them by fluorescent lights (similar to the ones you see in office spaces on ceilings) or by leds lamps.
There isn't anywhere near to one light source per pixel (on the contrary) so you can't even remotely begin to accurately regulate the brightness of each pixel.
What this gets you is either overly bright light parts of a scene or crushed blacks (instead of shades of black and grey you get a uniform black/grey area, so all detail in dark scenes and shadows is lost)
CRT, plasma and oled pixels all produce their own light, so the brightness of each pixel can be invidividually controlled, this means you get pretty much perfect contrast, it's in a different league
LCD tech also dpesn't handle scaling well at all (a big problem since few console games are 1080p)
LCD tech is 'good' at showing static images (the pixels don't have to move so response time doesn't come into play) viewed at a direct angle.
LCD is good at showing correct image geometry (one downside of CRT, plasma and oled don't have this problem), something that matters for graphic designers and artists, irrelevant to the normal consumer
LCD tech is bad at showing very dark or very bright scenes (backlight + lose a ton of brightness when the light passes through the crystals and the layers of the panel)
LCD tech is EXTREMELY bad at showing movement
The tech is fucking garbage and was a huge step back from CRT technology, the only thing driving it was cost efficiency (profits) and clever marketing and easy to fool consumers.
LCD needs to go away... yesterday.
