I'd love to be 100% digital but I'm still waiting for some cheaper memory cards :|

I have the biggest memory card, my problem are these sales. I bought AC3 yesterday at Best Buy, but they told me they'll match Target's Buy 2 get 1 free deal. So now I've decided to take AC3 back, rebuy it along with ACL and Most Wanted (Vita edition) and I'll just have paid $40 more to get both games. I'd RATHER have them digitally, but buying them digitally would cost me $76! And now I can sell one or both down the road if I choose. Oh well, the cards are small, it'll be fine.

AC:L is not a bad game by any means, but I think I really should have got Ragnarok first, seems more like my type of game. Hurry up with that $20 Sony!

Bigger memory cards too.
If PS+ gave me insane deals on the fighting games I own on Vita, I'd rebuy them all digitally without question. I'd rebuy WipEout 2048 too. Probably the MGS games. They'd get so much money from me as I sold off my physical Vita collection. But SCEA won't let that happen.

Which one will give me more playtime?

Persona 2 or Ragnarok? Serious question, I can probably only jump on one atm.

Yea i'm all digital and it's amazing. I freaking love this thing it can't be said enough I got Marvel with me wherever I go plus Darkstalkers 3, SF Alpha 3, Wipeout geez its just soooo good.

Youtube app is good, web browser is serviceable, got a good messaging system in place on a portable, etc.

Sony please advertise this thing it's too beautiful to die.

Advertising only gets you so far. You need the content to push hardware.

That said, SCE will have 26 twenty two minute commercials starting next year.

VLR, Ragnarok, AssCreedL, NFS MW all just released. What are people on about that stupid content argument all the time. Sheesh.

You know that the Vita had MORE games released than the 3DS for the same time period, right? And that the average score of a Vita game is over 5% higher than the average score of a 3DS game? I like all my consoles (including 3DS), but Vita is definitely getting content, good one at that.

Advertisement/Price barrier(especially memory cards) are definitely the issues to look at here.

Content that pushes hardware. A 3DS port, a niche Japanese game, a meh spinoff, and a PS3 port isn't that.

Content doesn't mean anything if the price barrier is too high. Nintendo had two Mario games coming out and they still dropped the price. $250 is way too much.

As I said, the average Vita game is getting better review scores than almost any other console. How is that not "quality content" provided for the console? The games that people want to play are obviously there (see better review & user scores on aggregate average). I agree that there is some reason to the logic of missing a big system seller, but by your logic no game will ever be enough.

Besides, VLR isnt a "port" in the meaning of the word (its the better version after all & simultaneously released) and AC:L isnt quite only "meh" either.

The Vita games are good, better than on almost any other console in fact on average. How is that not a convincing argument? Dont say anything about "well, they might be good, but there arent enough" either, since obviously it has more releases for the same time period than the 3DS had.

This right here is the issue. If you want a Vita + proper memcard you are looking at a $350 purchase. The 3DS is almost impulse buy territory and definitely more family wallet friendly. That plus advertising issues.

I think it's both price and content.

I bought the Vita for $179.99 (with the 8 gig card). I think that's a good price, Sony should consider adopting it.

But I still really don't have any interest in any of the Vita games. And I have a ridiculous amount of PSP games. Probably get D3 and NFS eventually when they goes on sale, maybe Book of Memories (seems to have mixed reviews)

Sony is a stubborn company. The last thing they do is listening to the consumers.

Don't expect Vita's price to go down at least until mid next year.

Does Vita do playlists in the music app?

Edit: Just saw that there are. But how do you make one, since you can't do it on the Vita itself (so dumb)?

Nothing new this month

Saw some over the shoulder footage for Declassified and from the little I saw it runs and looks great. Search "COD QG Episode 1 Avant" on Google. There's some game event going on in Paris. Gonna keep my pre order.

Thanks for posting this. The Nuketown action looks smooth!

There's an ad-hoc trophy in Street vs Juggle.

WTF, and SMH Capcom. Do you expect EVERYONE IN THE US to be near someone to ad-hoc play!?

What if...it's actually fun!

Impossible. lol. Honestly it does look much smoother than Burning Skies. Who knows. I'm not thinking it will be good, and I'm not going to buy it because of the ridiculously barebones multiplayer, but it would be cool if the gameplay was solid.

So in the last month I have picked up LBP, Assasins Creed & Most Wanted. It boggles my mind that people say that the Vita is a gameless wasteland and that the 3DS has this vast library of better games. I'm not trolling, I just genuinely don't understand this mentality.

Wow! That is some crazy awesome concept art, love it!

On the topic of Vita sales, I've been very disappointed at the low sales but does anyone remember how poor the 3DS, a Nintendo handheld, was selling before they lowered the price? I do wonder if the high cost of entry plays a large role in the Vita's poor sales since I was honestly quite amazed at the sales of the 3DS too, back when it was still $250.

It says a lot about Sony's attitude that the 3DS was selling significantly better BEFORE its price drop than the Vita ever has, and Nintendo was in all-out crisis mode.

Vita's now been out nearly twice as long as the 3DS at the time of its price drop, and all Sony's said is "we'll think about it next year".

my golly, MW is so addicting, lots of things to do, really don't mind the sub-res since the frame rate is stable, which is important in races

Just got the AC bundle and picked up Virtue's Last Reward and Project Diva f, barely started VLR since I'm having too much fun with Project Diva. Probably going to pick up Little Big Planet soon as well. My PSN list seems completely devoid of anyone else with a Vita, so if anyone wants to add me my PSN ID is Crovax44.

What are some good PSP games on PSN to get that are sold at $10 or lower for the Vita?
I noticed that Wild Arms XF is being sold for $10 and am interested in getting it. What's the general conciousness on it?

It's good, but it's very different, which some might not like. It's technically a SRPG (or tactical RPG), but finishing levels are more like a puzzle than tactics or leveling up.

I never finished on PSP but I really liked. As said, it feels like a puzzle, grinding is not enough.

I also really liked Ultimate Ghost and Goblins.

Nice, add yourself to the google doc.

We really, really need bigger (and CHEAPER) memory cards.

64GB for about $89 would be nice...

Bigger memory cards are good because they usually lead to the lower capacities dropping in price. I'd buy a 64GB for a little more than the current 32 though.
