Somebody convince me to get Little King Story on PSN instead of just getting the Wii version for ten bucks...

Followup on my Chronosphere impressions. I have now beaten the game and want to add a few points:

-On the penultimate course the framerate drops under ten and also affects the physics. Your ball goes way faster when the framerate transitions from low to high
-You can finish but you can't complete (3 star on every course, trophy associated) the game without the DLC because your standard ball doesn't reach the hitbox of 2 collectibles on the last course
-The level design was probably never playtested because you can sequence break 3 minute long levels and finish them in 10 seconds. You can also sequence break most courses in the second stage by physicsing around gates.
-The physics are bullshit
-Artstyle is still nice but why do they interrupt gameplay with needless dialog in a Marble Madness-like game

Don't buy, play it with EU Plus and enjoy it as a Kusoge 3/10

think ill get a better response here :)

Is it possible to get Peacewalker in the US PSN store on the PS3? does the online work in it?

You can get the PSP version of Peace Walker on the US PSN Store for PS3, but I think the price is something outrageous. As for online, the PSP version never supported direct online gameplay unfortunately.

Is the vita Lego LOTR the same as the console versions?

I know Lego batman was different

It's a 3DS up port like all the previous LEGO games on Vita.

Yikes. Contender for the worst Vita game apparently. You must have a high pain tolerance.

The other downside about Peace Walker is that it doesn't support transfarring through the Vita like it does on PSP, either.
So no trophy goodness on the go. (At least we have MGS2 and Snake Eater to fill the void.)

Yeah, I stopped playing Chronovolt pretty quickly. The framerate is terrible and controlling the ball just doesn't feel right. It also doesn't help that all dialogue and tutorials keeps repeating when you go back to a stage because you need a star.

I really like Switchball and Marble Madness and will play anything that's close to those games. This is just a bad one of those. The saddest thing is that if the levels weren't broken and the game wouldn't have horrible pop-in, framerate and shitty DLC we would've gotten a nice little PSN game that could be expanded on with course DLC.

Salt meet wound :<
(Then again I got a DD version of that)

Btw,god damn is that game purdy. Even my gf is impressed.

Oh and Takao! I call on yeeeeee!
Someone said that you said the Vita version of Sonic Racer is a console port?

Seriously Takao! Whats up with that? Toma said that Twinduct said that someone said that someone said that you said the Vita version of Sonic Racer is a console port?

;)

Yeah I really need to play that more. I just get 'Gold' hungry so I would replay the same stupid stage for like hours to get a gold. So I get annoyed and this put it down for days.

And thats how rumours starts!

About WipEout 2048. Is there any way to play the HD and Fury tracks in Zone mode? I have just started the game but I haven't seen any Zone mode anywhere.

Yeah:

There's one more transformation to consider: the one from PS Vita to 3DS. Because, while the Vita version will be much the same as its console counterparts, the 3DS version is a very different beast.

On Nintendo's handheld, the game uses a different engine, "more optimised for that sort of platform," explains Wilson. That means that some of the more complicated modes - like the frantic Traffic Attack - will be missing on 3DS.

[i'm assuming it's out]

edit: is it not out?? i thought i saw it on the store.

Oh lordy!
Fuck I wish there was some footage of it! Enjoyed the Demo on PS3 too damn much.

Thanks for the info!
(Friendly reminder will hunt you down if this is wrong hah!)

Same boat ..... without having bought lbpk.
I just want a portable kart racer. Something to play before bed.

Is the Vita PSN+ stuff coming to the EU store anytime soon? Tempted to grab a Vita for it.

It is already. You can grab Gravity Rush and Uncharted for free this very second.
edit: Beaten by the one who beat Twinduct!

noooo, I played the first levels and I tought it was a fun little game... don't tell me this :(

Got it for free thanks to Plus, no much harm done.

Don't bring your negative vibes man!

It's just..there is absolutely no reason for SEGA(SEGA usually show Vita games all the time before release) to hide the version from us like that if there is nothing wrong with it. They even released some footage and screens of the 3DS version.

Usually this behavior from any publisher mean the port will be a complete trash.

did they show off jet set vita beforehand? i have no idea how the game performs regardless, but i'm curious.

criterion didn't really show off the vita version much before release either, and it's great.

I know I know. Just want to have that lil bit of hope that we'll get a decent version :p

Think there was press viewings of MW. Since there was this constant 'It's looking great' mentality ... until they reviewed it and wanted to remind everyone how much it's not as good as the HD twins.

Any other publisher. SEGA didn't really show off Virtua Tennis, Jet Set Radio or Super Monkey Ball, and they're some of the system's biggest technical beasts. In fact, the western SMB launch trailer appeared a week after launch and was only promoted on their twittter feed.

SEGA of America is just incompetent and/or dead.

I'm not liking it either. Why does the professor suddenly go 'oh he's closing the time gate' and slap a countdown timer on you? There is a time limit for one of the stars, so leave me alone to finish the bloody level.

Think I'm going to delete it and play some marble blast ultra to cleanse my palate.

Shame, because it was the only game I got free that I hadn't already paid for. Oh well.

They took JSR to E3 or gamescon or something..I'm still a bit worried but yeah there is a chance S&S AS RT will be good!

3DS version was delayed I heard, glad to see this time the vita version didn't get delayed with it. Really looking forward to it personally.

JSR is so fun for me >:) so happy with vita atm (despite all the crashses). Still not done with NFS:MW after 40 hours too (probably best suited to the vita anyway tbh (physics), Uncharted (wtf were people complaining about! ..except tweaking the aiming controls ;).
