Haha my gf did the same except the 16gb card was an 8gb. First adopters always get burnt dude nothing new. Since gravity rush Ive had so much fun with vita that I feel the more people in the fold the better. Just want this thing to survive. Don't want a future of one dollar tap games.

Should get mine tomorrow, but still debating on what mem stick I should get next. I mainly wanted one to play older games from Psone and HD remakes, though gravity daze and that one shooter looks pretty sweet. Never played any of the personas before either.

I wasnt too impressed with the pricing model of Zen Pinball, and also preferred the 3DS version... other than that I cant think of many. Dungeon Hunters maybe, but I havent tried that, so I cant really comment.

Ugh, stupid filter thing. If you change the number of games displayed it shows up.... but yes, I am a comedic mastermind.
Also, other thread doesn't make any sense. Hype to hate in less then 5 hours. There's no way I'd pay full price for the Vita.... but that's what makes black friday so good.

Question though how is need for speed, fifa or Madden for vita? They're s 20 bucks on the origin store and really debating it. Though I hate reading reviews where they constantly compare it to the console versions since it doesn't ever tell me anything useful. I'm not buying a ps3 game.

NFS is fantastic.
FIFA is pretty good, the best portable FIFA ever.

They are all competent, though Fifa (and probably Madden) is a bit of a ripoff as it doesnt contain any of the new Fifa 13 features. Still probably the best portable soccer game, though. So if you want it on the go, its still fine for 20 bucks.
NFS definitely gets mostly love from those who bought it.

Need for Speed is essentially the console version in your hand, with slightly lower quality visuals, less traffic, and a four player limit online. I ordered that and FIFA 13 from the Origin sale.
Me to just got to wait till xmass to re-open it. Will open and test out when I get it next week. I have been reading this and trying to get caught up.
I have till Xmass to get a few things like case, grips and larger card. I am skipping the screen protector. I never liked the way they felt on other electronics.
What is the best case against dust out there? I have 2 large dogs and they create a bad dust problem for my electronics.
Are grips worth it and which are the best?
I am a PS+ member already and will be looking to spend 45 more or so on PSN before the 27th to get my 10 dollars back. What are some good PSP classics or PSN games. Games I can play for 10-15 minutes at a time I am getting escape plan for sure. Well hell any good game that is not a FPS would be fine by me. Also how is the replay value on Zero's Escape: Virtue's Last Reward? Is it a game you would replay a ton or more of beat it and trade it in game? I want to play the game deciding between digital and retail on it.
I picked up the Vita with assassins creed today at GameStop. I had about $140 in credits and I figured I would go ahead and just use it on the Vita since it seems like such an interesting device.
It really is a keeper of a device! I picked it up with metal gear solid collection and I'm having a blast playing it. I am stunned at how light the device is! I think the menu system is superior when it comes to handheld gaming also. The near system works so much better than Nintendo's goofy spot pass system.
I just want a few more games that interest me and I will be very very happy with the system. Right now I am waiting for the $19 most wanted deal I got from electronic arts. If it is anywhere near as good as burnout on the PSP I think I'll be very happy.

If you 'are' interested in a screen protector but just don't like how they feel, the official Sony ones feel pretty good, I think.
Also grips.. the Hori Grip can be picked up pretty cheap on Amazon and feels great. It's also adjustable.

They're all great games; you're getting the superior PS3/360 versions on a handheld, rather than the stripped down mobile versions. The downside is that FIFA 13 is based on the FIFA 11 engine, and Madden 13 is based on the Madden 12 engine.
Madden had some severe framerate issues when it came out, but surprisingly enough EA released a patch which improved it by quite a bit.
