You can swap accounts but it needs a reset and a memory card wipe. All in all it's a pain in the arse.
For what you were talking about doing, i'm still certain that you can buy the game off a shelf in Ireland and use it online on your UK account.
If for some reason you can;t put the code in you can take the game back since it won't have been used.
I'm thinking it's some dude in Call of Duty or Battlefield. I get random requests for going 1.5-2.0KDR in rounds. :/

Yeah, I think I might get it off Amazon UK just to be safe. In any case, I'm still enjoying Uncharted and Gravity Rush loads atm. Gravity Rush, in particular, is really something special. I can see how some may not like it, but for me, the atmosphere and the music just combine to make something really magical. A GOTY contender for me.
Also just downloaded Travel Bug, which seems really neat. I like the fact that you have to take photos of the receiving bug, it's a really cool concept

Depends. You can NOT buy a US game digitally and play it on a UK account. However, you can buy an asian retail game and play it on a US account (be aware though that Online Passes and DLC wont work since they are region locked, so only advisable for non-dlc offline games like MGS or Rayman).
Not that it matters much, but I am using my dedicated Headphones (not in ear) I bought last year

Retail/physical copies of games are not region locked and can be played on any account, but keep in mind that any DLC that the game may have can only be used on an account from that game's region!

Not a problem really in EU. We get lot more sales for digital content than US and amount of stuff not released here is minimal (Sumioni and i'm not sure if Dokuro is here? )

4) You can play the retail games in any region, however DLC and online Passes will only work in the region the game is from. EG, if you buy a US version of a game you'll only be able to download DLC or use the Online pass if you have a SCEA account. You cannot buy digital content on one account and use it on another like you can on a PS3.
5) I use a pair of CX300II Sennheiser in ears for my commute, and a new pair of FSL Zero bluetooth over ear headphones for when I am at home. I am not an audiophile.

No, you are not going to be able to transfer saves between accounts. It's all tied to the account that created it.
If you are ever gonig to want that DLC you will need to be playing it on a PSN account from that region. Sorry.

yup which we might not even get any vita games announced for the 4th it might just be a ps3 release. At this point we aren't even sure how many games NA PS+ will be getting each month for the vita, it could easily be 1-2 instead of the 3 EU got... we will have to wait and see sadly
Ah, my gravity slide is still too slow to get anything past silver though.
It seems most of the negatives towards the game is about the combat. Im still only an hour in, so I haven't faced too many enemies yet, so we'll see if my impressions change.
I still don't know how IGN only gave it a 7.5 in graphics. This game is fucking beautiful.
I just bought some weed from a kid on the street, how can Steam contend with that? I'll tell you how, with the new initiative called 'Greenlight'.

Steam has dragged the entire PC DD market down to a point where people are making reliable money from volume instead of high price. PSN is not at a point where the volume could match up to the sales needed to offset the price. It's simply not possible yet. Until you have the ubiquitous platform that Steam has, you'll not see 80% off sales very often.

Sorry I meant my typical commute which is standing on a platform for 10 minutes and then standing on a train for 30. A laptop is more than useless in these situations, and just like a Vita is more than useless at running photoshop.

I'm setting up my Galaxy S3 (my best video camera XP) to mount on my desk so I can do some lets plays/live streams of Vita games. I've already done a test run and it was too bad at all... but it'd just be so much easier with Video Out.
How good is LBP vita? It really seems like LBP was made to be a portable game to play on the go. I never really got into the game on PS3 as I never felt it was a game to dedicate a number of hours playing.

Its one of the best rated titles on the console and is exactly what you'd expect from it.

Suits handheld great. Good additions to the franchise with the touchscreen stuff being actually quite fun (moving platforms etc). Local (offline) level saving. Problems with slow loading times now fixed. Made the platforming controls tighter - handheld goty for me.

You'd have to assume that it would have something like that. But I don't think there is anything hardware wise that's stopping them from producing video out right now if they wanted to add it to the current Rev.

It's still LBP but I feel it is much tighter with the controls (the devs talked about how that is what they were going for as well) - have a gif that I think demonstrates it pretty well... good momentum.
I'd bet my vita that the people complaining about lbp's physics in that thread never played the vita version - I had the same complaints about lbp1 (never played 2)
I really doubt it since I expect they'll be trying to reduce costs and most people realise HDMI would have been great after they buy it But who knows.
