I could use some recommendations. I'll be getting a replacement Vita soon, and I've boughten Persona 4 in the meantime, so I'll be looking for games to go along with it.
well I guess I was lied to! That will definitely save me some time whenever I get around to buying a bigger hdd.
Those trophies and secret rooms seem impossibleFinished Knytt Underground Yesterday but I need to play it deeper because I didn't get any trophyeven having explored 1400 rooms and completing almost every mission
Amazing game, entertaining platforming puzzle like I didn't play in years![]()
I started FFIX yesterday, and wow!. How charming it is!. I like it is a step forward from prior entries in animations and exploration in towns. Sometimes it is like a graphic adventure. Really impressed.
look into half minute hero on the psp...
and then ask that you say what type of games interest you before I give any other recommendations as unless you give me filters to reduce the games to recommend I might as well just link you to metacritic by all time score for the vita and maybe for the psp as well and tell you to look into the games rated 75 or above because I haven't a clue what you would want in a game![]()
I was open enough to not be specific, but since you asked nicely...
Anyway, I've mostly been eyeing RPGs and the like, more or less, but outside of that, I don't have too much in mind. The only other Vita games I've gotten before were UMvC 3 and Disgaea 3, if it helps any. Also, I really need to play that Soul Sacrifice demo.![]()

Have you played a lot of psp/ps1 games? The rpg offerings on the vita are pretty barren beyond disgaea 3 and persona 4 for straight up vita games, hopefully some of the games from japan make their way over this year.
The only other games that come to mind that are vita games would be Ragnarok Odyssey (not so much an rpg but a loot grinding game from what I understand) and Virtues Last Reward (not an RPG but has strong writing and branching paths of a story... it's a lot like an RPG without the combat)
Aww man I don't know why I keep on messing with this
Anyways its free on Japan PSN and uses AR
you can download and print the paper for AR here or use a image online like how I did it.

I'll check this out
I have to say, those 2 swipe based boss fights really soured my experience.
I did used to have several PS1 games under my older US account, but I intend to use the Vita with my newer one, and I'd hate to go through the hassle of re-buying everything. Out of what I had (RPG or otherwise), though, was FFIX, RE2, Silent Hill, Bloody Roar 2, Parasite Eve and Chrono Cross, and the only PSP games I remember buying were Fate Unlimited Codes and Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins. I've very much have been eyeing Virtue's Last Reward, GAF hype and all, but I'm not too familiar with the Ragnarok series, but Odyssey did look interesting.
I tried Half minute hero and it was boring very fast. Interesting idea but should have never been made into full retail product.
There's no ad-hoc co-op, which is incredibly annoying. How does one complete the partner levels? Online or is it only local co-op for those?
Easily the best levels in the game. These speed runs in Rayman Origins are nerve-racking lol.
Easily the best levels in the game.
Indeed it does. It pops a grid of red dots on the screen and when enough in one area turn green, AR happens!Doesn't AR mode in everybody's golf work without AR cards?

Starved for Vita game announcements. Let's go Sony!!
Travel Bug 2 announcement iminent.Starved for Vita game announcements. Let's go Sony!!
If only they brought the card game from 8 into 9....
So EDF - can someone give me a basic rundown of the style/feel of the game? Is it an ARPG with loot and leveling? Or is it just an action game?
It's a loot game where the actual gameplay is gunning down a massive amounts of alien insects.
Completed all the challenges with gold medal... piece of cake...Completed Gravity Rush Chapter 11 no real challenge to get the gold medal in the time attacks... we'll see the last ones...
Good games have been and will be released for it but don't expect sony to support it like their home cinsoles. Why do I feel like Vita is still the red-headed stepchild?
Even papa Sony doesn't like him very much.
Where is the love Sony, its your own son?!
Where is the love?!!

The PS3 hasn't been well supported? What?Well they haven't exactly done amazing to support their home console either, so I guess the point is kinda moot.
I was looking forward to that too. Is there any chance that Wipeout 2048 will get patched even though Liverpool is dead (RIP)?Talk of AR makes me wish they had released the AR museum for wipeout![]()

Sony can't afford it i think,Vita is pretty much finished in japan after pokemon releases anyways. This announcement of Pokemon X and Y for 3DS is going to be killer for the Vita. Where are our Vita megatons, Sony?
More on topic - I'm so jelly you Americans get EDF todayI have to wait two weeks! (To get paid)
Hello Vitacats, Vitadudes, Vitabros, Vitamoms, Vitagals, Vitadads. My first post here. Been a lurker here for about 3 months. Just got the account approved today.
This announcement of Pokemon X and Y for 3DS is going to be killer for the Vita. Where are our Vita megatons, Sony?
Hmm what ?
When you buy NIntendo platform it's obvious you will get at least 6 rehashed games each gen
- pokemon X/Y (insert two random colors here)
- Mario Kart
- Smash Bros
- 2D Mario
- 3D Mario
- new Zelda
The pokemon release on 3DS is as suprising as new part of Call of Duty being released in 2013.
I think i've bought enough games, and had more than enough fun now to justify my Vita purchase even if Sony announces tomorrow that they're completely dropping support for it.
I don't really care to be honest. For all of the haters it has, it has a ton of great games and i've had a ton more fun with it than i've had with any other system in its first year.
Obviously i want more great games, but whatever.
