Amazing game. AI is a bit stiff but pick and play nature is very fun. Co-Op is also amazing. Daily challenges add replayability to the game.

The pokemon release on 3DS is as suprising as new part of Call of Duty being released in 2013.

It's not surprising, but new Pokemon will surely bring many more people over to the 3DS rather than Vita. I've been a supporter of the Vita since day one (first system I ever preordered), but sales figures in October are going to be brutal...

Well before october we have monster hunter 4. First quarter is the only time vita has in japan with many good games coming to revive its sales considering no big titles are coming for 3ds. But considering vita managed to stay afloat even with Animal crossing is a glimmer of hope.

It's always been a low budget series of games with the idea of defending earth from mass amounts of giant aliens, insects, etc with tons of different firepower at your disposal, while (mostly) on foot. It's the type of game that you would never get from a AAA hyper focus tested game publisher as they have very little in terms of plot and are just all game.

Going to sell shitloads just for being the first title in 3D, but yeah I dont see it affecting Vita sales.

I do even more when you consider the fact that vita has nothing like monster hunter 4,dragon quest 7 or pokemon in terms of sales,what would be the point of releasing a third party game for the vita when the 3DS is doing way better?and these 3 huge franchises will be coming exclusively to the 3DS this year,less game support=less sales,even all these vita exclusives will be ported to PS3 or PS4 someday and Vita's poor sales would only accelerate this process.

Expects lots of framerate drops. That's almost a staple of the whole franchise.

If the framerate is stable, they aren't tossing enough bugs at you.

I don't think that's possible (unless...Dragon Quest 8 HD!). Even I'm excited for the next Pokémon, and I never plan on getting a 3DS.

I think i've bought enough games, and had more than enough fun now to justify my Vita purchase even if Sony announces tomorrow that they're completely dropping support for it.

I don't really care to be honest. For all of the haters it has, it has a ton of great games and i've had a ton more fun with it than i've had with any other system in its first year.

Obviously i want more great games, but whatever.

Agreed with all this, and honestly, I only needed P4G to truly justify it. The other great games I've played have all been nice bonuses. This year I'm hoping for Soul Sacrifice to be good (think it will be), and wishing that Sega announces PSO2 Vita in the west.

That's not even without looking at the games I haven't bought but would love to own one day, like DJ MAX, Diva f, Celceta, etc.

Cos as far as I'm aware only the god of war games ever got ported to ps3.

The GTA games,the gow games,the syphon filter games,mgs peacewalker etc. were all ported to home consoles and they are pretty much the biggest PSP titles apart from syphon filter.Heck hot shots vita has already been ported to the PS3.

Vita ports wouldn't strengthen the PS4's library at all. The reason for porting these games would be to enjoy extra sales from a large user base.
