What on earth is 'champions of norrath'?

Buy spec ops the line, I know I know, not a vita game :(

Just finished it though and it needs to be a success to help the industry so please buy it, it's fantastic.

I guess for vita maybe buy unit 13 they are both third person shooters!

Two awesome hack 'n slash games for PS2, in the veins of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

If anyone could help me in Knytt Underground, I'd appreciate it. I'm stuck here:

The image is a bit dark, since the game doesn't seem to allow you to take screenshots outside of that menu. But it's screen 14,12 in the game's map, if anyone would be as kind as to help me. There was some kind of ice-creature there who I'm now supposed to take somewhere, but I simply can't get out of that hole. Is there something I'm missing? Should I not be there yet (I'm in Chapter 1, not that far into the game)?
 
Man Super Monkey Ball looks really nice. It's so clean and bright, not many jaggies at all. Maybe it's because I've just come from playing PSP games and AC Liberation that I'm so impressed.

Sorry cant help you with that. But is the game good? Is it a Metroidvania like the PC version?

It'll be a year at least. Their bigger XBL games tend to have longer contracts, but most devs usually use those bags of cash to fund development+localization to other platforms, as ironic as that is. I'd say it's inevitable for them to come to PSN, but it'll be interesting if they bring it to Vita or not. I seriously hope so - by the time they finish it I'll probably be able to play my Vita again :)

Well, I'm not sure what to think, i'm not really sure what this game is about after an hour or two of playing. I'm not too far into the game, but so far it's been enjoyable. Nothing super-amazing but that could change if it ever offers more than the kind of simple platforming it's been so far. It's really open, it doesn't really give you any indication where you should be going and there are a lot of different locations you can explore somewhat freely, though in the beginning there are more places where you can't advance due to perhaps not having some skill or something than there seems to be places that you can actually go to.

The thing is... I'm not sure if I'm breaking this game by going to places I'm not supposed to go by finding ways to get ahead in places that you shouldn't be able to get ahead in or if I'm just not finding a way forward, but I find myself in a lot of dead-ends that I can't get out of (that is one in the screenshot, I'm currently in another one after quitting the game and going elsewhere).

Can't quite remember (I only finished chapter 1 myself) but it might be an idea to look at the map again and check out any open areas. You might have missed a quest somewhere judging by the number of items you have.

The problem is I couldn't get out of that hole (you can't see it clearly in the pic, but I'm at the bottom of that hole and the only way out is up and... well, it's too high up, can't seem to jump out of there no matter how I try to bounce from walls & everything, and unless there's some secret way of doing double-jump or some other crazy skills, I simply can't get out). Oh well, I quit the game and began from the last checkpoint. And then I got into another can't-get-out dead end, this time it wasn't a single room, but a huge place filled with lava in every direction and the exits, again, too high to reach.

While I'm here, picked up life of pixel (might calm Carl down) and its fine but not earth shattering. Some of the graphic styles don't quite hit the spot (bit too high res) but overall they work nicely. I liked the BBC micro and e C64 with bas relief everywhere.

Spectrum levels were annoying though - flick scroll, often with either enemies or a blind jump meaning instant death and learning by rote.

I don't feel any huge desire to finish all the levels now I've seen all the different computers but it was a diversion for a while.

Probably a bit late, but I get mine from Amazon. You need to enter an American address, but you can use your Australian CC as per usual. You get the code instantly.

5. Playstation All - Stars Battle Royale: Well played the PS3 version more and I'm upset i have to re-do everything if i want the Vita trophies. So I haven't touched the vita version outside of a quick 1 minute run.

I have Marvel vs Capcom 3 Ultmate, Persona Golden, Desperate Escape and MGS Collection Vita all on the radar (digital).

Trying to finish AC3L. I need to break off from collectable hunting and do some actual missions as I feel I'm losing momentum here.

Plus Mortal Kombat. To my shame I had to take the story mode difficulty down to easy, and then down to beginner but I just want to finish it, not lose to Shao Khan 50 times.
 
Been switching between Alundra (that Let's Play thread is perfect for me to try to finish my most recent playthrough that I started in December), OddWorld: Stranger's Wrath, Virtue's Last Reward and, just began it today, Knytt Underground.
 
Hi Vitabros! I've been following the vita threads since Late February last year. Since then i've had three different vitas A 3g/wifi then sold it because i needed money for personal reasons. Then bought another Wifi vita in late July and sold it again! Finally i got another one this time ACL3 bundle vita for christmas along with MGS:HD, NFS:MW, Persona 4, and $150 of psn cards. Its great to finally talk to everyone in the thread and be part of the vitabros! Feel free to add me my psn is: Raveveri

P.S. MGS HD is gorgeous! Never played MGS3

Welcome! I've been here in the Vita threads since the first one back in Feb. So you've been a Vitabro for a while in spirit.
