We're inviting you, the readers of 1UP.com, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Computer Gaming World, Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine, GMR, and Xbox Nation, to select the best games of 2004 in 12 different categories, ranging from Best Role Playing Game to Most Innovative Game. The results will be announced at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in January as well as on 1UP and in all of Ziff-Davis Media's game magazines. How likely is it that this will get delayed? It seems like it will be.

You know how you watch a TV program and you look at your watch and there's five minutes left you're like, "they're no way they'll wrap this up in five minutes." And it turns out to be continued... well, that's how I feel about KOTOR2. At any rate, Paper Mario is better, so it's irrelevant.

Didn't vote for the rest though because I haven't played Half-Life 2, MP2, and MGS3. One of these will most likely get my vote for GOTY because I either have no interest in the other games or they were disappointments.

I wonder why Counter-Strike: Source isn't on the list for Online Multiplayer, it really deserves it from what I played at the local lan center.
