Walmart Price Mistake ($43 UC4) (KH3 $40) (MGSV $40) (Batman:LE $62)

Got Super Mario 3d Land and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire pricematched at Best Buy. Pre Order MGS V at best Buy....eventually. Hopefully it stays matched at Amazon for a while.
 
Ugh, seriously considering Type 0 but I kind of want to wait on Amazon.... if Walmart didn't take the money immediately I wouldn't mind, but it's BS that they charge immediately (even if it is a hold, it amounts to the same thing).
 
I want to order Phantom Pain but it's not giving me the option for store pickup. Is shipping the only option or am I missing something?
 
Price matched KH3, Uncharted 4 and MGS V through Best Buy (over the phone). It was a hassle as the guy didn't want to price match WalMart.com initially, but he came through in the end. All games I planned on purchasing day one anyways.
 
Anyway to get the pre-order for in-store pickup? Wanna pick up KH3 pre-order for my bros birthday.

edit: Oh I see, what the fuck? I'd have to wait two weeks for in-store pick up? The fuck is that shit?
 
I put pre-orders in for Kingdom Hearts 3 and Type Zero with Walmart. I doubt they will cancel on me, I sort of don't think it was a pricing mistake but who knows.
 
Is there an updated list for Best Buy's $10 reward certificate?

I placed an order via phone to have it ship to my house, but might have to change to in-store if my games are on the list (FF and KH)

MH4 comes with the $10 card, which is why im leaving my pre order at best buy

first lady i spoke with flat out refused to price match it saying they don't do pre orders. second lady say was like what items you want to price match and she was cool with it, no questions whatsoever.
 
I think if Walmart cancels my order, I will just get it on Amazon for the real price. Since its the last Batman game of this series, might as well get the statue for this. Go out with a bang.

Would be nice to snag this for $67, but really don't think I'm going to get it for that.
 
Anybody have any idea how long it may be if Wal-Mart does actually cancel these? I would think if it was all a big pricing error it would've been fixed by now, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

You would think as soon as it went out of stock. It still says out of stock with the $62 price. So, who knows.
 
I just got off the phone with BB and said they can't price match KH3 anymore since it shows 59.99 on wal-mart. She did acknowledge that it WAS on sale earlier. Damn
 
Just checked, looks like some of the pre-orders are back to normal price, and the in-stock stuff has almost all went to regular-ish prices. Guess it's a waiting game now to see if the pre-orders actually stick. At least got Alpha Sapphire for about $15 off out of it this stuff goes through.
 
aw damn sale is over. was really hoping for amazon to price match MGSV, Type 0 and KH3. well at elast I got V and 3 over at best buy. I got MH4 on best buy and amazon just in case best buy cancels on me.
 
I saw this earlier and was like eeeeeehhhh maybe I shouldn't preorder Arkham Knight yet.


Then I saw this thread and was like "fuck it, nearly the price of normal version."

Now it's normal priced again :/

Edit: You guys made it so that anybody who had preordered any of the games that Amazon price matched gets that price no matter what thanks to Amazon's low price preorder guarantee. Bet Amazon's angry as shit at Walmart right now.
 
If these pre-orders actually stick, I wish Type-0 would've been matched down on Xbone, too. $40 is a good price for that, I would've grabbed it for that. $60 I'm iffy on, even with the XV demo.
 
Tried to price match Type-0 at 5 BB's, almost got it at one, but the person checking saw that the search results page was normal price. Didn't ask her to click into the actual page were the lower price was still going. The listing is back to normal now, but I did place an order w/the the lower price at walmart. Crossing my fingers, but my expectations are low honestly.
 
Do Walmart have a history of canceling in store pick up orders? Got Pokemon OR for the error discount for store pickup and so far they haven't cancelled it.
 
no, you'll be set for the in store pick up.

1) the customer is always right
2) a good portion of the walmart staff can't count to 10

I have a feeling the prices will stick. From my experiences large companies don't go back on their pricing errors.
 
I saw this at work and almost jumped on KHIII, but I got ultra busy immediately for the rest of the day. And now it's over. :/

Oh well. KHIII will surely be out before my GCU runs out in 2017....right?

When was the last time they had a pricing error and let people keep the wrong price?

I really hope you are right, and my order still is valid, so it would be nice if they were just trying to clear the remaining preorders or something.

Microsoft store during Black Friday with the store error for kinect sports. Many people got GTA or MCC for 20 bucks instead of the full price
