Well, he's a fucking felon.
From beginning to end, the biggest fucking problem with Obama was his overly optimistic "deep down everybody is a good, decent person who will make the right decision eventually" bullshit philosophy. Spent way too much time and effort trying to get the approval and respect of straight up evil people. Congratulations, you got David Brooks to respect you, but the "moderate reasonable conservative" archetype he represents doesn't actually exist and holds no power. Well I guess a few do exist in the country. They're like never-nudes, there are dozens of them. DOZENS!Obama really screwed the pooch on this one. Never appoint from the opposition.
Isn't there a conflicting report that he *didn't* lie? I saw that on Twitter.

So it's the media's fault for reporting news? Right.

FBI is covering this up. Fucking bullshit

This really shouldn't stay a mystery for terribly long. They should have the Flynn recording and I'm assuming they recorded the interview with him. Fucking release it.
And he'll get zero punishment because he is a republican and republicans won't hold their own accountable.

Jim Sciutto said:First on Flynn, the FBI is saying "that barring new information they're not gonna pursue charges against him, that they had in their conversations with him that he was forthcoming, he did not hide the truth, they said if he forgot some certain details of things, he was not intentionally misleading so if they don't learn anything new they're not gonna pursue any charges". We did learn today that his clearance or rather his access to classified intelligence was suspended pending further review I'm told this is in response to those conversations with the Russian ambassador.
No, the other report said the FBI did not believe he intentionally misled them.Isn't there a conflicting report that he *didn't* lie? I saw that on Twitter.
The FBI is saying that barring new information, they're not going to pursue charges against him. They add that in their conversations with him that he was forthcoming. He did not hide the truth. They say that if he forgot certain details of things he was not intentionally misleading. So if they don't learn anything new they're not going to pursue charges.
This is a federal crime, but let me guess, it doesn't matter right? Where the GOP in all of this? It would be a massive uproar if any democrat did this.
This dude is totally going to end up being the Ollie North of this administration, isn't he?
That's about the Logan act. Lying to the FBI is itself a crime, though.

"if he forgot some certain details of things, he was not intentionally misleading"
So this is them basically saying he did lie to them. WTF?

Flynn told the FBI "he didn't remember" (per CNN) all that was discussed with the Russian ambassador but Fox News' John Roberts reports Flynn had a "full recollection" of his phone calls when he was questioned by the White House counsel.
