I love the loot aspect so far. i think its subtle enough not to get in the way of the gameplay. Also i like how you can only equip your stuff after the round. Its keeps things moving which is good. So far (chapter 6) no complaints so far.

Any chance of a single player demo down the line? I get the impression the single player is a lot different than the multiplayer, I'd be interested in seeing how, as the multiplayer beta let me down.

My computer is running it at 1400*900 all maxed settings on my laptop, and i'm getting like 23-30 FPS, Which i think is kinda low considering my laptop runs fear 2 and at a steady 60 but hey what can you do.

My specs:
Vista 64 bit
P8400 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.24
4GB DDR3
9800gts 1gig


I wasn't in the beta so i'm not sure what that was like sorry

Are you in the states? Supposedly its not available in Europe yet.

also i haven't had any issues as far as crashing or glitches yet so thats good

Your performance sounds about right for Ultra settings. Have you overclocked your GTS?

No i hear you need a program to. I didn't see the option to when i went to the boot settings. Kinda new to the whole good computer thing.

Also i suggest you guys play on the hard setting, medium is a cakewalk.

9600GT 512
2GB of RAM

So overclocking was a bad idea, blue screen of death says hello to me a couple times while playing. FUCK overclocking this thing, i'll take my 23-30 FPS on ultra settings.

I have DoW Platinum Edition, and while I enjoyed how different the game was from a lot of RTS games, it felt a bit too hectic at times. It's like I didn't have time to think, I just had to spam out units and then decide what to do with them. Maybe I just suck.

Yeah I think it can be an issue with all Relic games...I had CoH and DoW2 Beta lock up on me at full overclock. I did a slight underclock and everything has been ok. Went down from 3ghz to 2.88.

The 2 maps were in the day 0 patch, the game actually ships with 5 maps.

I seem to be getting better performance from the game at Ultra settings rather than High. At high it was mostly running really choppy and dropping down to 10 fps but on Ultra it howevers on 40 or above and drops only in bigger firefights. Huh? :/

i fucking hate that im too broke to sample this wave of games/DLC thats coming out this month.. i logged a good amount of hours into the beta.

i really want to play the campaign, alas.. fuck.
