Sam Raimi should do a super hero movie again. I think he even said what a mistake Spider-Man 3 was.

Spider-man 1 had a dumb green goblin. Unforgivable. Destroys what is otherwise a great movie. Tobey is also horribly miscast as peter.
Spider-man 2 had a great villain.
Spider-man 3 was a shit movie. Felt like Raimi didn't want to have Venom in there so he decided to ruin the character.

Raimi's time with Spiderman is over. Superhero wise, give him one of those funny and quip superheroes.

Kevin Smith deserves a shot at a big budget super hero movie. MoS already had a bad repilutation so if the makes a bad movie ( Kevin Smith is a good director with some awful movies) it's no big deal.

The quality of the previous movie should have nothing to do with the quality of the next. Who cares if it sucked, I still want a good movie.

I like some of Kevin Smith's films and I listen to his podcasts from time to time but he is completely incapable of shooting an action scene or even anything mildly exciting visually. Nothing against the guy but that's just not something he's good at. And his comic output has been mixed at best. I haven't seen his Flash episodes but directing a tv show is very different from a big budget movie.

I love Tobey as Spidey to death. It was my youth hero.

But my favourite director for a CBM would be David Fincher.

Not that I would want Kevin Smith to direct any of these DC movies, but isn't that what Snyder is for at this point? It's not like Ben Affleck/Patty Jenkins etc. know how to shoot action on this scale. That would be the least of their worries, Zack has an EP on all movies and while he might not have a say on the story, characters etc., he does/will help out the other directors when it comes to visual stuff and explain how to shoot certain things.

If you live in the US, I believe it is.

Has anyone signed up for this yet and can tell us if you see anything about the Hall H panels?

No live panels.

During the convention, no panels will be streamed live. It’s sad, but true. The only way to follow the action at panels from home is on Twitter, Facebook and press coverage (or if someone is using Periscope when they were told not to). There will still be some live programming though.

Seth Laderman, executive Vice President and General Manager of CCHQ, explained to Slash film in April they are working with the studios to get the greenlight to post Hall H panels in their entirety on CCHQ. Laderman said:

We’re going to be working with every single studio, every single panel host to be able to take the content and put it on our platform. We’re not going to be live streaming anything because we really don’t want to take away that experience of people who are the first to see and be there for it, but we can put things up shortly after.

I don't know about Jenkins but Affleck's films look a lot more visually accomplished than anything Smith has ever done. A lot of directors start small and then end up making big studio films but Smith has been directing movies since the early 90s and he's never stepped up his game. Based on the Yoga Hosers trailers, I would even say that he has regressed. Despite their inexperience with blockbusters, directors like James Gunn and Colin Trevorrow (and I don't even like JW) showed a lot of promise in their early films and I understand why studios picked them. It would make no sense for anybody in Hollywood to give 100+ million dollars to Smith at this point in his career.

I probably sound like I hate the Kevin Smith ;) I really don't but he's better off making smaller films and writing a few comics here and there for the big two I think.

I just want a Batman solo poster.

I wonder if there will be a new suit. Superman's didn't really change from MoS to BvS and Wonder Woman's looks about the same as well.

I might be one of the few people who doesn't really like Batman's suit. It's a good idea on paper, but the cowl makes him look dumb and fat.

I think it's still way too soon for a poster. The most you can hope for there is an announcement and if you are lucky a logo to go with it.
