Add me to the hype train. Going to see Star Trek Beyond in 30 tho so i'll have to see this thread when i get home to see what I missed including Didio having suplexed Quesada into giving them Captain Marvel naming rights back (or at least sorting out whatever called him Shazam) and a WW trailer that blows our collective minds while a money shot of the Justice League ft. Ropeguy breaks the internet.

Kevin Smith deserves a shot at a big budget super hero movie. MoS already had a bad repilutation so if the makes a bad movie ( Kevin Smith is a good director with some awful movies) it's no big deal.

He's an awful director. Esp tchnically speaking

A $100M King Aurther film starring Charlie Hunnam doesn't sound like the best bet for success.

The same studio that brought you a $350 million Mad Max film 30 years after the last one starring Tom Hardy, who when cast was only known for Bronson and Star Trek: Nemesis.

Pleaaaase give me a Dunkirk trailer. I need that Nolan/Zimmer greatness again.

King Arthur starring hunnam sounds terrible but I'm really interested in the IP so I hope its quite good tbh

I'm actually really interested in what they do with King Arthur. The Once and Future King is one of my favorite things I've ever read so I'll always have a soft spot for Arthurian Legend.

This whole panel has me pretty excited

I think that Inception and The Dark Knight Rises were more relevant than either of those. Especially if we are talking about WB.

Also, Mad Max Fury Road had to be one of the best big budget action films of the last 20 years to more or less break even (after home video, streaming, etc) thanks to those things working against it. I don't really expect Guy Ritchie to turn in the next Fury Road.

Guys, no, there won't be a JL trailer, jeez..... at most from JL it'll be that Bruce/Barry clip and it won't be online.

They officially confirmed King Arthur is coming too.

Unless George Miller is doing Arthur I'm not sure what this has to do with anything.

Comparing Hunnam to Tom Hardy makes little sense, because Tom Hardy is lightyears better than Hunnam.

Hiring Guy Ritche doesn't sound like the best of ideas either. Unsure if this will be better or actually worse than Fuqua's King Arthur movie.

Neither Inception or The Dark Knight Rises were released or a thing when Hardy was cast in Fury Road.

Jesus christ there wasn't much to it. lol It was just the point that WB seem to green light and budget the shit out of everything seemingly from a dead 30 year old IP to a $100 million King Arthur flick they want to be a mega franchise.

Really looking forward to the King Arthur and Skull Island footage though!

I hope we can get leaked videos out of this and they get turned into .webm so they can't be taken down so easily. I heard there was some new tech they were using to stop recordings but I hope people are able to get around that for an new clips that get shown. I hate that they keep stuff like that there. Not everyone can travel across the country or camp out for days and they refuse to stream these live, not even for a price.
