Same.

Well, I'm not looking forward to it, it's work.

We should be fine with the Northern Line, unless the wind somehow manages to get into the deepest line of the underground. The DLR I am worried about though, a little rain and the DLR to Bank gets delayed.

When was the last time something of this calibre prompted trains and flight cancellations?

Obviously we get the yearly Snowpocalypse, but wind wise?

Alternatively, everything will be fine, but people will stay at home so I can run around an empty train.

Two doors down from me they are having a loft conversion done. There's no roof on atm and they have it covered with plastic sheeting and corregated iron, the entire thing looks like it will take off. Will be surprised if it's still there in the morning.

South West Trains are advising people not to travel tomorrow morning unless it's essential. Of course my job is essential, dammit! Those magazines aren't going to edit themselves!

Bring it on storm......where is this storm???? Noting here in London so far.

Same, although it was rather windy today here in north London.

I thought maybe the storm was brewing, but not much has happened. I heard it will affect mostly the west and south of the UK.

You want: no power at work so you can stay at home and play [game of choice] all day

You'd settle for: fuck all happening to put you out of joint

You'll get: a shittier commute to work and people swapping war stories like it's the fucking Blitz

DorsetGAF checking in. Raining pretty steady here now. Bit blustery but no "holy shit" moments just yet. We had some bluster during the day and about 10 mins of heavy pouring around lunchtime. We'll see how it goes.

SWT can eat shit, the bastards. Although they were pretty decent with the snow, during the summer they were unreliable crap.

Nothing will compare to a thunderstorm we had here in Bournemouth in December last year.

I normally sleep through them and everything, but this was so loud it woke me, and so loud that I actually ran to the window and loaded up BBC news on my phone to check we weren't at war and under attack. It sounded like a massive explosion.

Turns out it hit a school and a hotel.

Hell of a storm, that.

It's getting breezy outside!

Is this thing still on? BBC weather is saying I'm only going to be getting like 25mph winds max tomorrow in the west midlands. Feeling a bit let down to be honest.
