Wasnt there supposed to be a massive Resident Evil 4 campaign?

I've seen Resident Evil 4 commercials, Mechassault 2 commercials (sometimes 2 or even 3!! during the same commercial break) and the occasional GTA San Andreas commercial.
 
What? No RE4 commercials? The past few days I've seen at least half a dozen, and I hardly even watch TV. You must have the wrong channels on.

Isnt the idea behind a massive advertising campaign being that you dont have to have it limited to 4 channels to see ads for something? They should be getting ads on ABC, NBC, whatever.. not just Spike TV, MTV, Comedy Central and other channels innundated with ads. You're preaching to the choir at those channels.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I didn't see the commercials on any of those channels, but I can't remember which ones I did see it on.

Seeing a game commercial on ABC would be quite the accomplishment on their part, though.

Ditto! And all I watch is Cartoon Network so I haven't ever saw a RE4, Halo2, GTA:SA ad. :(

Much must've been what I've seen it on. But yeah, I've seen a few variations of it, too.
 
I was watching Comedy Central last night and saw a Resident Evil 4 commercial during nearly every commercial break. Guess it depends on what you watch. You're certainly not going to see any on CSPAN :)
 
It depends on where you are, what you watch, and when you watch. Advertising is done based on regions so some places may get more than others.
 
I've seen lots of commercials on ESPN and various other cable channels. Hope it helps. Of course, I saw lots of MP2 commercials too....
 
Here's my impression of The Comedy Network (Comedy Central Canada basically) for the past week:

Kit Kat commercial with 2 guys talking about how his girlfriend wants a break

Commercial with woman mountainclimbing, gets STAPLES to move up her shipment, drops the phone. The EXACT same phone ring as mine, drives me fucking NUTS, I reach up to grab my phone EVERY time it's on.

Mech Assault 2 commercial.. IN A LAND.. WHERE NO MAN IS KING... ONE MAN.. BECOMES.. THE ULTIMATE WEAPON.. CLICHES AHOY...
