Joking aside, Groundhog Day is one of the saddest movies I've ever seen. I actually prefer Bill Murray's dramatic/sad roles to his comedic side.

Him trying to keep the homeless man from dying breaks my heart every time.

Repeaters is pretty good. It's about 3 people in drug rehab with various family/life issues who get into a Groundhog Day style situation together. Bad things happen. It's on Netflix Instant.
