I really liked Blue Prince, up to a point... but the RNG gods are just against me and it got incredibly frustrating. I have moved that one mining cart that I need to get into what I assume is the last room. And I just can't get the right blocks to finish the game anymore. I appreciate a lot of things about the game (the "dart" puzzles are ingenious once you get beyond basic levels), but come on. I'm almost there.
There was always things to do regardless of RNG, up until unlocking that room, there's still a lot of stuff to do after that point tho and you start to get diminishing returns. There's one thing inparticular (a key) which is an RNG nightmare and requires a specific super rare room to spawn and then for a rare item to spawn in said room. I got it once or twice but in each instance there was no way to get it from there to the place I needed it. I eventually got bored and gave up. Then got expedition 33 and haven't played it since.
