The 4 Roman pastas.

carbonara (no cream, ever)
Bucatini almamtrica (sp)
Cache e Pepe
Pasta grisc (sp)

Less than 5 ingredients. Simplicity, technique driven, absolutely delicious

mashed potato is god tier. if i had to pick one thing to live on for the rest of my life it'd be mashed potato. can't go wrong with it.

second place would be boiled rice with some fried onions/mushrooms. :messenger_relieved:

overrated trash.

not exact that but same brand i suppose. i just only tried them out and i'm in love. i've eat loads of noodle pots over the years but these are my favourite:

Honestly most foods. One of the lessons I learned while becoming a better cook was to learn how to make the main course taste good without a ton of bells and whistles. I prefer my food to shine through on it's own and only have a sauce, glaze, marinade, etc. to complement the base taste of the food. Something as simple as a chicken breast can taste otherworldly if you season it properly with salt and cook sous vide.

Sometimes a nice crusty loaf of bread with a fluffy interior and soft salted butter can be better than anything. It’s rare but when it hits it hits.

Fresh tiger loaf is God tier with salty lurpak

Also if I'm feeling sassy I add these on top

Love tiger loaf and love French baguette

as with any list the whole thing is subjective and up to your choice.

so what ever anyone chooses, (within reason, cannibalism is frowned upon) If it hits the spot for them, then hell yeah.

Hummus (not to be confused with Hamas) is good and so easy to make. I keep a can of chickpeas in my pantry at all times because of it
