I'm not usually one to get sick.

Today, however, I've had a terrible post-nasal drip thing going on, and I'm really achy tonight whth a congested headache feeling.

Are these flu symptoms, or just regular common cold stuff?

Sounds like the flu - if you start getting "the chills", then you're in for a bad one.

Start pounding them fluids.

Not to oversimplify, but the flu feels a lot like a really, really bad cold. They share common symptoms, but the bottom line is that with the flu, you know it's the flu. It hits like a ton of bricks.

You probably just have a cold. I think it's still a bit early for the flu.

I haven't been sic in like two and a half years, but my sister had some kind of virus last week, so I don't know if that played into this at all.

No matter, I'll just keep on moving, and not let if affect me.

Two things you usually get with the flu that don't come with a cold are muscle pain and fever/chills. If you have these as well as cold-like symptoms then it's a flu for sure. Get in bed, pack down the OJ and vitamins and get ready for a couple of crappy days.
