Hard to believe this was released in 2021 and not 1981.

I also like how Duran Duran themselves acknowledged all the MGS TikToks using the song:

Cardiacs band leader, guitarists and main song writer Tim Smith suffered a stroke AND a heart attack in 2008, was never able to play or record again afterwards and died five years ago. But last week there was the unexpected news that "LSD", the album he had been working on before his health disaster, has been finished by ex Cardiacs members plus a few guests. It's even going to be a double CD.

The single "Ditzy Scene" was the last proper Cardiacs release in in 2007. In September 2020 we got to hear the only completely finished track off "LSD" called "Vermin Mangle". "Woodeneye" is a preview of the new album and has Mike Vennart, formerly of Oceansize and touring band member of Biffy Clyro on vocals.

Son of a gun was quite a staple for a while (was all a bit Jeremy Healy mind you…). FX were all club/no free party. There was a Way Out West remix of There's Nothing I Won't Do on the original release that was quite banging/just a bit to way out west/etc. Fucking loved son of a gun tho - proper Friday night fuck nut/club night tune in its time - proper throw up before you come up tune :messenger_smiling_with_eyes:

You ever had a song that got completely wiped from your memory but then it randomly comes up on the radio 30 odd years later and it gives you a really weird feeling of something you thought you lost in a really weird existential way.?

Well, that happend today
