But there is a difference between what people click while registering and the reality. I don't believe it's actually more than 10% female.

It all depends on what the data draws from. There are certain parameters to consider.

-Does this include members who barely post(like once a year or once every 4-6 months)
-Does it include lurkers?
-Is it cumulative (includes members since the forum’s beginning)?

Those are just 3 examples that can easily shift percentages in a large way.

I'm guessing the statistic will be 100% guys because even if there are women around here, they keep it to themselves because that's what usually what happens on message boards. Plus this community doesn't exactly strike me as being concerned with tact or sensitivity which can't feel very welcoming for many women, lol.

As for age range, it's probably between 30-40 for the most part, with few exceptions of users who are above or below that range.

Also, in light of recent events, I've concluded that we also have around 40% furries or at least people who would be open to experimentation.

I think there are a lot more women who play video games than that, but I also think most of them are less likely to use an enthusiast forum like this. I'd be happy to be wrong, though.

I would say based on the last 5 years or so of the way the internet has gone that the forum probably used to be a little bit younger and had people transition away and by Young I mean average and maybe like the early 30s so I would say the average age now would be probably 27.

The male the female ratio that is always interesting but I would venture to say it's 70% male.

Where it becomes more difficult to break down given that there's probably people from all over the world here so the easiest measurements would be to say it's predominantly still United States based members by at least 50%. And she just throw random numbers out there maybe 35% European of which a majority would have to be from places like England. And the rest be a makes of everywhere else around the world.
