What food have you stocked up on for the quarantine?

I went for frozen veggies, frozen pizza, and basically a freezer full of chicken nuggets and french fries. 5 pound bags were 7.50 each, so, yea...why the fuck not?

Then it was basically some water and milk. Didn't even buy one thing of toilet paper. Already have rolls saved here.

I cooked yesterday beef strogonaff, should probably last me for the whole week. Apart from that i have cheese, bread, ham, rice, vegetables, fruits and a Supermarked a block away.

Loads of tinned stuff. Loads of long life milk. Basic ingredients like flour, rice and pasta. Freezer full of meat and fish.

When the apocalypse happens there will only be me and Keith Richards left.

sardines in olive oil
pasta
rice
crushed tomatoes
blocks of pecorino romano
lemons
garlic
chicken
extra virgin olive oil
fresh greens in bulk in freezer/fridge
coffee
tea
sugar

Oh, going for the healthy lifestyle are we?

I have a few different types of rice (basmati, thai long grain and round grain), 5-ish bags of pasta. Potatoes.
Some 30-50 tins of canned vegetables. And a chest fridge full of meat and icecream.
I always have this in the pantry. It is common that roads and electricity goes out for a week at a time where I live in the tropics.

Haha oh dude. Here we've had super Sunny and nice days. And the supermarket is small so not many people usually there. I am not so scared but i would think twice about going to a big one. Do they have home delivery?

None, I always keep a good stock of pasta, bottled water, canned vegetables (corn, carrots and peas, red beans, baked beans), but I do not start hoarding the moment some unpleasent news arrives.

I went with easy, not healthy :p. But I have lost 8 pounds since this quarantine started.

not one bright day here since the virus blew up, cold and gloomy

if it keeps up this way or gets worse into summer it is going to be the strangest shit

My supermarket does deliver but it's insanely hectic lately, I'm better off walking the minute lol

I have enough food (in tins & the freezer) & toiletries to last 6wks.

...which by the sounds of it, won't be enough.

Why the fuck not? Because you're already fat as fuck

Porridge, rice, minced beef, veggie burgers, potatoes, pizzas, bread, soup. More importantly, formula for my baby. Dog food for the dogs.

Family of 4 here

60 tins including beans, ravioli and soups etc so 30 meals worth
2 tins of corned beef
3 packs of dried pasta would make 6 meals.
10 meals made with sausage
6 meals made with chicken
3 meals made with beef
2 meals with frozen fish
2 meals Made with frozen burgers
2 meals made with Tuna (tinned)
1 meal of pasta 'n' sauce
Got cereals in including porridge, shedded wheat, weetabix
We've also got frozen veggies/chips etc
Potatoes, other veggies in stock

We did the best we could, we were hampered by economics, supplies god damn those panic buyers and storage capacity.

best case scenario 40-50 meals without leaving the house but we intend to nip out and grab what we can.

I can make it about 2 weeks with what I have, enough for a quarantine. I am slowly moving through the perishables and still eating takeout to preserve the stuff that will last. Didn't cost me a dime but I'm not a fan of wasting food.

Wife and I don't eat feet meat but in a worst case scenario we would. She is currently growing several plants and we are ramping up to a veggie garden and some avocado trees. If anything, this virus will have us moving toward more self sustaining measures- something we've talked about for some time but never enacted. We've talked about picking up a sheep or goat or two as well.

I don't have specific stocks for the lockdown, only bought slightly more of the usual non-perishable products in case weekly trips to the store won't be enough :
- pre-made soups
- apples
- rice, pasta and semolina
- fish (frozen and tin cans)
- frozen vegetables
- breakfast biscuits and Wasa bread
- butter
- jam
- tea and coffee
- all kinds of yogurts and desserts

As long as I have running water, I'm good. I usually get some fresh meat products (chicken, sausages) and eggs when going out for shopping. Rye bread when I can find some, but sliced bread is usually in low quantity and the only kind left is usually bad, hence the Wasa crackers.

Sadly, I don't have access to my own refrigerator so absolutely no meats or eggs I can carry.

So my only source of food are mostly non-perishable/long shelf life products like cereal and crackers.

Yeah, being dirt poor during a viral pandemic is the worst feeling ever.

I bought a whole New York Strip, cut it into 2" steaks, and cooked the steaks sous vide. I've been heating those up along with some frozen veggies and fries.

I haven't done a full stock of everything, as the local stores aren't completely empty where I live, but I did buy a shitload of RX Bars, peanut butter, and frozen burritos just in case

White rice
Cans of low sodium black beans
Whole wheat bread and triscuits
Sweet potatoes
Nonfat yogurt
Eggs
Extra lean ground beef
Cheese
Huge bags of kale
Flax/chia seeds
Dark chocolate
Almonds/hazelnuts/walnuts
Bags of lemons
Orange juice
Frozen berries
Bananas
Water

Running low tho need to go shopping again
