What food have you stocked up on for the quarantine?

Proteins and fats will be hardest to obtain if you actually have to rely 100% on your quarantine stocks, so stock up on those. Unless you are vegan get a mix of animal and plant fat sources, if possible. One fat in particular (omega-3) will be hardest to obtain so consider fish/krill oil. Cans of coconut milk, jars of coconut oil, boxes of butter, cans of sardines, almonds, pork lard, olive oil, cacao butter, cuts of meat (frozen), hard cheeses (stores better), chia seeds, flax seeds, jars of tahini (sesame seed paste), lentils, etc

Food? What about guns? Every single motherfucker in my city bought every single gun and ammo they could. Like that is gonna protect them from GOD lol.

Nothing really, I usually have about two weeks of food in the freezer, and there is plenty in the stores as long as I don't have to self quarantine.

My Coronavirus shopping list:

-As many cans of tuna the supermarket allowed me to buy, ~15.
-A 20 kg bag of rice.
- 2 kg of chicken breasts.
-6 bags of sliced bread.
-~4 kg of nuggets and pre cooked burgers.
-48 eggs.
-10 packs of 5 hot dogs.
-5 kg of oranges, 5 kg of tangerines, 5 kg of bananas.
-2 kg of lentil and beans.
-2 kg of sugar, 1 kg of salt.
-3 packs of noodles.
-2 bottles of Pisco.
That'll last for a week more I guess, then I'll have to go out and buy more.

Tri tip, beef brisket, chicken, ribs, pork. I have a lot of bbqs in the summer and now I'm afraid I won't have good times. At least I got the survival foods. That and a 10 cubic foot deep freezer that's stocked.

my grocery store is pretty well-stocked outside of a few random items (muffin mix and pocky???) and if I have to self-isolate I don't mind paying a bit extra and tipping for some delivered groceries so I haven't done any hoarding.

I have two refrigerators in my house and a huge freezer in the garage.

Meats
Loaves of bread
Ultra filtered milk because it has long shelf life
Beans, lots of beans
Soups
Sandwich meat
Noodles and sauces
Dog and cat food

Nothing.

Stores are empty almost. My entire city is closed down except essential businesses.

Shit is bad, fam.

My freezer is loaded with chicken and bread. I've been grilling in and making chicken sandwiches. Nothing fancy. Some light seasoning and BBQ sauce on a toasted roll. Been eating that pretty much everyday.

In my store room I have 2 5 gallon buckets with rice in one and dried beans in the other. That's all I stock normally. If I get too hungry I'll go outside and shoot a deer or a rabbit, and start a garden.

Nothing, just like in medieval times this is the perfect opportunity to lose some weight. Everybody stuck at home can start doing a real workout 4-5 days a week now that their schedule has no conflicts too.

Just a few extra tins of corned beef and beans, extra bag of pasta and some frozen veg. Froze some minced beef.
Can last 10 days easily if I had to stay in from now.

ground beef, ramen, chili fixings, breakfast fixings, hamburgler helper, tater tots, juice, popcorn some grasshopper cookies and peanut butter cups. tuna fish and tuna casserole stuff, also pancakes.

kitty greenies and lots cat food and cat litter, cuz yum.

30 lbs of rice (2 cups of rice lasts me a week)
30 lbs of chicken breast (thin cut)
15 lbs of stir fry veggies
6 lbs of Barramundi
6 lbs of Talapia
10 lbs of Cod

Not hoarding btw. This is just how I buy quarterly/half yeraly from Costco. I bought everything in January before all hell broke loose.

Now, if my freezer breaks... I'm in a lot of trouble!

My dad didn't teach me much but he taught me disaster preparedness, so we already had plenty of canned and frozen veggies & fruit & meat, peanut butter, dried beans & rice, bottled water, snacky stuff for the kids, formula & baby food, cleaning supplies on hand. Just started buying a little bit more during my usual grocery trips back in January when this started making news. So we're doing okay for now. Also plenty of rum because if I'm working from home for a month I'm gonna get lit.

Didn't count on there being a run on fucking toilet paper though. Animals.
