It's real fucking simple, proper fans want to live the hogwarts experience, they want to attend classes with their friends, run missions, compete for house points etc, share the experience with others, for me it's like early World of Warcraft where everyone is running around doing their thing, often times helping out others and completing quests within an incredibly immersive world and leveling up.

For Hogwarts Legacy 2, you make it so all the students you see are other players running between classes to level up their spells whilst engaging in quests etc

A livelier open world around Hogwarts, and a location in the actual UK to visit. They created such elaborate towns in this game, imagine how cool bits London, for example. would look in this engine.

Make a better progression system. By the time I was around mid game, I had already almost all the spells, and there was nothing else to do but to finish the story. A full morality system with consequences would be nice too. I'd like to be a Death Eater.

everyhting that was supposted to be in the first game . main issue with the game is the purported classes being in but only in there as side quests. the whole school system should have points and schedule ,getting caught in school at night time should deduct points etc ,not going to classes should ASWELL. will the sequal be like that idk ,im honestly not even seeinga sequal at this point as i feel hogwarts was a scam. the game really is not hogwarts at all its a generic side quest thon

I agree with everything said. I recently finished the game on Switch 2 (cost $23 using the upgrade).

Overall I thought it was a good game.

For me the some pet peeves were the map basically showed you everything, icons galore, Merlin trials etc. You could turn that off, but then you also turn off the markers for the main quests too. Not sure why they didn't separate the two, and maybe I didn't see it on the settings.

Agree that lots of things were just busy work that didn't amount to anything, and also, even if you reached the goal of getting the Merlin Trials you needed there were still more in the world so it made little sense to be a completionism because they had more than the actual final assignment needed.

Also the Hogwarts map 3D was not good, very hard to find anything, not sure why you couldn't spin it (or maybe I missed that too).

And finally, a more diverse landscape. Everything and everytown lookd exactly alike, there were no other biomes.

well, you see... the issue with it is that it is a modern AAA game... and modern AAA game design is just pure ass, and you'd need to basically change everything about it for me to give a damn.

I tried to play it. someone in my family has it on Steam, so I could play it for free in theory... but my god is it dull

Main things for me is improve on the role-play aspects of being a student.

I want something akin to Persona games, where there are life-sim elements mixed in with the RPG progression, so that it sells the experience that I'm going to the fun school learning magic. The books regularly covered different days and classes where the main characters + ancillary characters interacted in lessons, and you get fun side-plots + character development outside the main story through that. Hogwarts legacy did a few scripted events, and then nothing outside the main quests + side character quest chains. I believe the side character quest chains were gonna be a more robust system, but the dev in charge of that team surprisingly passed away during development cutting it down to what we got.

Otherwise, I just want more activities to do in the world that aren't just attacking creatures or bad wizards. Quidditch being cut for that lame service-based failure was dumb, so add stuff like that into the game people want to actually buy.
