No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.

And the madman does it.Not only that but he actually makes it out alive.

Still my fav COD by far, it's stupid in places but so iconic.

Takayuki Yagami (Judgement). Corporate assassins, crooked police, and Yakuza repeatedly going after his life don't deter him from striving to solve the main case.
Haven't played Lost Judgement yet, but in 1 he doesn't care about the risk of death in pursuit of justice.

Any army in any RTS. No matter what, all units fight until the las breath. Even when victory is impossible, they never surrender and have to instinct for self preservation or any fear.
In the real world, battles that were total war, where people fought to the last man, were relatively rare.
For the majority of real world battles, the casualty rates were around 15%.
The reasons for this were several. For one, people are not complete psychopaths that want to kill everyone on the other side.
Another reason, is that if the other side surrenders, the fight stops and everyone else can live. But if the fight continues to the last man, even the people on the winning side have a chance to still die in battle.
And one big reason, is that most armies were made up with the people that also farmed the land. So if they all die, you get the land but no one to work it. So the best option is to kill the leader on the other side, but keep most of the peasants.
Land without peasants or serfs, was worthless.

Except for Total War units, they do route. Some of them rather easily.

I would also mention Voodoo Vince
