Oh man, I have to continue Blue Dragon. I liked the more open areas of the game, enemies being visible as a valuable tactic, the job system and the world map. I play the game in hard mode and the difference in difficulty is incredibly noticable from normal. In normal, I didn't have to grind at all, but it's absolutely necessary on hard. I stopped playing at the boss right past that village with the living murals because he repeatedly kicked my ass.
I also wonder if there are some more usual villages. I've only entered some towns or outposts with sheep, murals and these little buggers so far, so I like to see some villages or towns that look built by humans.
---
Otherwise I'm playing Final Fantasy XIII at the moment and I'm at chapter 11. So far I'm enjoying it, but the linearity of the previous chapters was so extreme at times that even I, who doesn't have too much problems with that nowadays, was annoyed by it (same thing that happened in FFX). I loved 6-8 though. I love the open-world approach in Chapter 11, even though I'm a bit irritated that it doesn't feel like I'm getting stronger even after two hours of exploring and grinding.
