For example they have the Taken miniseries for $72. 10 bucks cheaper than DDD. They have CSI series' for only 50 bucks apiece.

Cheers for the intro. Sounds interesting and I'll definately considering looking into it. But my only concern is that considering only a season was made, does the main plot ever get resolved or is there many loose ends that don't get tied up by the finale?

There is no big payoff, if that is what you mean. They DID know it was coming to an end so you kind of see subtle hints and they mention some changes because of that, i.e. true episode order and some shot choices. But it doesn't matter, you will LOVE this show and you will be satisfied with the series, despite being completely pissed off because it is over.

Keep in mind there is a movie coming out which will be the 'true ending' and will wrap everything up. So it WILL have an ending next year.

The last (tv) episode just kind of reinforces the "Keep on truckin'" attitude of the characters, it doesn't really leave anything blatantly up in the air. Some of the episodes are very powerful and emotional though, you will love it.

Thanks, and yeah like SKluck said, the show leaves a lot of loose ends, but there is a movie coming (forgot to mention that in my origonal post). My hope is that it doesnt wrap everything up, but rather leaves it's self open for a sequal, or better yet does really well and the Fox execs pull there heads out of there collective asses and put the show back on air. That's my hope! But it's unlikely, I think there heads are glued in place.

Land of the Lost season 1 is out now, and season 2 comes out 9/28/04.

I've seen it at Best Buy, and you can also order it from Amazon.

Looks like a cheap-o release with only a few episodes, so it's probably better to wait for a region 1 release. If JEM can get released on DVD, it's only a matter of time before we see MASK!

As much as I like Land Of The Lost back in the day, the best thing about that show... were the references to it in the movie Bubble Boy.
