The presumption has to be that The Elder Scrolls VI will be built on the foundations and framework of Starfield. All the work developing the assets, the environments, the AI, etc for Starfield will pay dividends for ES. It may be oversimplifying but in essence it will be a fantasy reskin.

I don't think ES is as far off as some may think. My bet (optimistic as it may be) is Xmas 2025.

(I suspect by then we'll have some form of Pro version of the PS5 but not a PS6).

Sony traditionally releases their consoles every 7 years, so PS6 would be released in 2027. Starfield will release in 2023 and ESVI would be build on top of its engine, so a 2026 or 2027 release is pretty likely, even a 2028 would be possible.

Who knows, but either case I expect them to be somewhat close.
