What Would You Give Up: TV, Cell or Web?

I'd lose TV in a heartbeat, cells are much more convenient.

I do however have to wonder how many of you I'd kill with my bare hand before giving up the internet.

Already given up on the cable service. May renew it after I move, but I needed to save a few extra bucks over the Summer. All I've missed are the nightly shows like TDS and Colbert, but I've been watching them through Hulu on and off.

I can't even watch TV right now as it is (no cable, can't get over the air), and the only thing I ever bothered to watch via other means was Lost. So TV is very easy to give up.

Cell is much harder now that I have an iPhone. Before, I could have given that up too. But now that I'm used to the post-iPhone world, I might die if I gave this thing up. *heh*

TV would be easy for me.

I recently moved into an apartment like a month ago and I do not have a TV. It isn't too bad because I can usually stream things or download it later. Like when Michael Jackson died, I stream live video from CNN.com.

Internet and cell phone would be hard. That is a toss up. I would lean to cell phone. No way in hell I could live without the internet.

Tv first most of the stuff can be found online anyways so it will not be missed much. The cell phone and internet will be very hard to choose between but I will end up giving up the cell phone first before the internet will go.

Cell, TV then Internet, purely because i can call folks and watch TV over the Internet so i wouldn't give anything up.

TV as in my television; or TV as in broadcast, cable or satellite? If it is the latter then TV certainly.

TV.

I could never give up the 'net totally at this point as much as I should cut back.

TV could easily be replaced by lots of other things, like, say, reading.

TV easily.

I hardly watch TV outside of the NFL season. The ratio to good and crap shows is way to much in favor of the crap.

My cell phone is way to important to my life (its a windows mobile phone and I have appointments and stuff in it).

The web is just the web.

TV, cell, internet. I can watch tv shows on my laptop through my TV anyway if I want via HDMI, and I'm finding more and more that the only things I really watch on tv are just a few shows and sporting events like tennis. If not for those I don't think I'd bother paying for cable. My cell phone is linked to my work email and clients so there is no way I could give up my cell, and I text like crazy every single day as well as use it as an alarm clock.

I've already given up tv.. I haven't had cable or satellite in almost a year. I don't really miss it, either.

I love my cell phone and my internet, though. I wouldn't want to give either of them up. Though I mainly just use my cell for portable internet access :lol

TV... depending on exactly what I'm giving up here. If it's just the object, then sure, I barely use it anyway.
If it's the object and the 'content', then cell phones. Fuck cellphones anyway. I use mine all the time, but boy, do I hate what they've turned people into.

TV easily. Wait..does that mean I can't play video games on the TV? Can I stream/dload TV shows? The choice would become a lot harder then. If so, I'd probably pick cell..

That's not stated clearly in the actual poll. There's no qualifiers of any kind in the question.

Oh come on.. I don't know how it is in your country, but every show on TV here that isn't for kids is also streamable. Everything is downloadable, as well. It is the same in so many countries today that there is no way the poll was talking about a big box in the living room.

This is obviously not about the appliance as much as it is about the content. Otherwise everyone would say TV and use their PC as a DVD player/Blu Ray player/stream everything/use a DVB card, essentially making their PC a TV..

I already don't watch TV. If you mean I can't watch my Lost and House on the websites streaming, then I guess it'll be the cell phone first.

But I don't mind losing the TV or the cell phone. Damn. You can't take my internets.

TV then Phone. You'll never see me forgoing the almighty internet (vacations don't count). I've gone the last month w/o tv and I haven't missed it.

That's an easy one. TV. I have already given it up and haven't watched it for about 6 years.

Also, Brazil fails.

Cell, then TV, then Internets. I can make calls, text, and watch tv programs on other devices. I can't internets without the internets!

Cell phone first, then TV, then Web.

I feel so out of touch without internet access. I pretty much only use my cell phone for texting and I've gone long periods without TV before, wouldn't be that hard to give up either.

You can watch TV shows through the internet. You can talk with family and friends through the internet.

So I basically just need the internet.

I'll echo the general sentiments around here. I'd first give up television, then cell phone, then internet.

Honestly, I can live just fine without TV at all, I barely watch it as it is. But the cell phone and the internet are almost critical to my existence and survival!

If they mean TV as a service, which I think they do, then I've already given up on it. After that, cell. I'll die fighting to keep my Internet.
