Green chile cheeseburger at Bobcat Bite. Santa Fe, NM. I grew up about 10 minutes away and miss it dearly. This place usually ends up on top ### burger lists and for good reason.
it says Kobe beef on the menu so you're saying they are lying ?
What about the place?
You come across as very elitist.
Au Cheval in Chicago. I think I saw someone post a pic already.
#2 would be Emily in Brooklyn.

buffalo burger from Ted's Montana. it was amazing.
Au Cheval Burger, Au Cheval, Chicago, IL USA
I also go to Small Cheval as well.
He's right dude. There is no such thing as real Kobe beef in America.
He's right dude. There is no such thing as real Kobe beef in America. You had an imitation. Kobe beef isn't a patented term in America so restaurants can slap that name on and throw in a few extra bucks for unsuspecting customers who think they're getting the real deal.
Also you don't ground up real Kobe beef to make a burger or hot dog. It's a waste.
Also Kobe beef comes only from a certain lineage of cattle in Japan.
Same lmao. Someone give us burger recommendations on the strip!
Not entirely true. http://www.businessinsider.com/8-restaurants-that-serve-real-kobe-beef-2016-7
Every year or so there's a couple more restaurants actually serving Kobe.
Most are American Wagyu labeled as Kobe or Kobe style though.
100% Kobe ground beef from Wanto Burger in Kobe, Japan. Legit 100% better than those fake Kobe burgers that you get in the US. Wish I could get some here but only 9 restaurants serve real Kobe beef in the US and none do burgers
I put ground beef because I'm an idiot. It was a ground beef patty with pretty strips of Kobe draped over it. It kind of resembled a flower. I'll see if I can find a pic.Why would you use Kobe beef, whose signature is marbling and fat with a low melting point, and ground it up?

Welp I stand corrected.

Regular ass cheeseburger from Cooley's in Waynesboro, MS.
Simple but unbelievably good.
i miss Katsu Burger in seattle.
Places like this in the Delta area, always, always, always have the best cheap food.
I've had it a few times in Japan. It often comes with a certificate and a nose print from the cow. Last one I ate was named "Michiko" which did little for the taste. Anyway if you're wondering, it's delicious and tender (depending of course on preparation and cut) but it's not worth the gulf in price between a steakhouse quality usda or florentine quality steak.
Better perhaps but not the kind of difference between a lackluster and perfectly ripe mango, if that scale makes sense. And yes grinding it into a burger would be financially stupid except that plenty of parts of a Kobe cow are every bit as tough as their Wisconsin counterpart.
Idk, Kode beef has been one of the few high priced items that really blows out regular and higher priced items in the same space. The only other item I can think of that meets this criteria is probably Kopi Luwak coffee.
There's one in Bellevue next to the Nordstrom Rack/i90.
back in my dayyyy it was just in georgetown! looking at the website, apparently they're on capitol hill now too. three locations. happy for them. ;_;
Is that the Civet poop coffee?
I didn't think it was all that great, I've had better buffalo burgers at home.
