Anyway, there's this episode where the bald Happosai learns that Ranma uses a "dragon's whisker" as a hair tie, pulls it out, causes Ranma's hair to grow out of control and believes that by making "dragon whisker's soup" he'll grow hair.

Over time they first modified their genes to be able to live underwater because Planet Y is completely covered in water, and then turned themselves into machines after letting machines dictate their whole society again. and due to all that, they slowly lost the ability to feel emotions and became more and more one with the AI that's slowly taking over their new planet (hence the binary code)
