What's the meaning behind your avatar?

The punisher isn't so much for the violence as I'm not a violent person by nature. It's more of what happens to a man that loses his family and reason to live. The things he does to seek vengeance but nothing can fix it. Frank Castle and all his iterations has been interesting to me on how easily a person can be broken but still care in ways. Netflix did that well in Season 1, even the War zone movie touched on that.

But sometimes it's cool to just see him tear stuff up with 0 regard.

I suppose I just find the psychology of Batman's inception fascinating. He pays respect to the fallen, the consequence of the single event that birthed him and drove him to purpose.
 
There was a specific reason why I used this other than shameless self promotion/doxxing...I just forgot why. I've been meaning to change it, so thanks for the inspiration!
 
It's a picture of an animated Stephen Merchant from The Ricky Gervais Show. We look very similar, though Stephen is easily seven or eight inches taller than me. So I have an avatar that looks a lot like me but isn't me if that makes any sense.

 
I don't really think about it a lot, other than making it an image I want to associate with, that fits me, and looks pretty/cool on its own merits.

Bumping into some really cool Nintendo art has been a bonus, as I get to rep my love for those games.
 
I'm a massive fan of The Legend of Heroes JRPG series, and I especially love the cast from Zero/Ao no Kiseki (Crossbell arc)

From a panel in the comic series Annihilation. Galactus has just been released from imprisonment. He's a bit pissed.
Sends out a massive blast of energy (he's nowhere near full power, as a result of being drained while kept in chains) as he tells the Silver Surfer to "Herald My Rage!" It wrecks a few solar systems and basically ends the war.

So yeah, it's the Herald My Rage bit that I feel my avatar does for me here ;) and I'm a bit of a comic book nerd etc etc
 
Mine is what Stable Diffusion came up with when I asked it to make a custom Demon's Souls character. I knew I wanted a Demon's Souls avatar but thought it'd be cool to have a unique one that hadn't been seen before.

I'm a massive Marcus Aurelius fan. Not only was he one of the greatest Roman Emperors, but he was also unintentionally a great philosopher. Probably my favourite historical figure of all time.
 
Despair, sadness, as I look down upon the console warring and hatred that is spewed by publications on a constant basis. Slowly growing more jaded day after day.
