what's your plan for November?

With the release of Wii, PS3 and some good X360 games, do you have a plan for November?

I haven't really thought it through, but I'd like to carve room to have time for both Wii and PS3 launches - hopefully they don't launch too close together.

X360 will have to make room - I enjoy my launches, and both new consoles will have droughts after a few months, so I can always catch up with my 360 then. I might be able to squeeze in GoW, but if it really launches on PS3 day then I'll pick it up at the midnight opening but it'll have to sit at home for a week.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

And, my friend has a 360 and I'll be rooming with him in college, he'll be getting Gears of War.
 
I'm going all out on Wii :) X360 games as of now don't really interest me, and the same goes for ps3 launchtitles (and the price point..).
 
Read about how much fun gaffers are having with their new games because I'm going to be broke. And maybe Elite Beat Agents.

PS! Does anyone know where to find a picture of the PS3 valuta cards? (Same meaning as 360 point cards but the PS3 ones look like glass(in style with the OS popups) Minority report style)

November, november... Gears of War and Wii, i hope they put Wii Sports in bundle with the console so I can brought another title with Wii!
 
Lots of Wii for me, and some DS lite.

Zelda, Metroid, maybe Excite Truck, Yoshi, Elite Beat...
And surely forgetting some games.
 
a Wii a game and a nice CRT SDTV should bone me for cash enough me thinks.
 
Wii and Zelda, and if possible MP3, Red Steel, Far Cry and Rayman...well, Wii Sports would be nice, too.
And then there´s NDS.

Oh, and a new TV would be something.

My problem is that I'll probably be getting an HDTV and Wii/GC/PS2/etc. games will look like crap on it. Is it true that component cables takes care of this? I've always been sketchy on stuff like that. Yes, I already have an SDTV of course, but there are some annoying burn-ins.

Nope, they will still look like crap. Huge jaggies. Colours will be vibrant though.

Oh for me, Wii/WiiSports/Zelda and GoW.

Wii & Zelda and 1 FPS (Red Steel or Far Cry, if they suck then Metroid Prime 3).
Mario Galaxy when it's out, hopefully this year.
Maybe Wii Sports if has enough different sports/games. If not, maybe Wario Ware.
Maybe Rayman, depending on reviews

And some DS stuff naturally.

If no lack of money then Wii + Rayman + Zelda +... will see
Already have a 360 and don't plan to buy a PS3 before 2007 even if I get a well paid job (I don't know where the PS3 "good" games are ?!? )
 
Elite Beat Agents first of all

Then Zelda + Wii + Red Steel + Rayman + Trauma Center + whatever I can afford
 
This November I plan on getting a Wii, an extra controller, and up to 6 launch titles (Zelda, Trauma Center, Excite Truck, WarioWare, Metroid Prime 3, Wii Sports).

Apart from that, the following games are gonna be mine that month as well:

Guitar Hero 2
Final Fantasy III
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (PAL-XBox360)
Elite Beat Agents
Yoshi's Island 2

I'll pass on "Gears of War".

I also won't be getting a PS3 at launch. The only launch window game that I'd really like to get ist the new "Everybody's Golf". But I won't spend 600 bucks just for a golf game.
"Super Swing Golf Pangya" for Wii will do until I buy a PS3 (-> MGS4-Release-Day, even if there's no price drop until then).

if i'm fortunate enough to land a job straight out of uni I'll be getting....

Dead Rising
Gears of War
Mass Effect (due 2006?)
 
I´m going with Wii + Zelda and another game IF the pricetag is alright and with alright I mean no more than 200€ for the console itself or 250€ for Console + Game.
 
Wii and finish up all the big PS2 heavy hitters (VP:S, Okami, Yakuza, TOTA, FF12), then work at my backlog... before I bother with a 360 and/or PS3...
 
wii + zelda, mp3, dragon quest swords (if launch), excite truck, red steel, far cry (if good), wii sports, music, motor sports (whatever happens with this franchise), gt pro (if good), rayman, mario galaxy (if its out this year) and maybe 1 or 2 more.

ds games, ps2 games and pc games.

damn.
 
Plans for November thread - week of August 06 to 13.

There should be some sticky by now, these threads pop up so often now.
 
I'll probably be hanging on to my current gen consoles, picking up Yakuza and Okami, Super Paper Mario & Zelda (GC edition).

Assuming the PS3 actually meets the November release date, I guess PS2 games will be going pretty cheap - so I'll grab everything that I've managed to miss so far.

DS-wise, Im tempted to get Jump Ultimate Stars and Bleach2, if it has the rumoured side scrolling mode..

PSP-Taiko portable 2 probably...

Oh..and hi, I'm new to this board!:D
