When I normally charge my powerbook (metal casing) everything is fine...but when I took it to China, where I suspect the earthing was not correct, I could feel the current or vbrations through the casing when it was plugged in, and I would get shocks from teh screws.
Maybe your earth is screwed?

mrkgoo said:Not sure what you mean, but the adaptor is 110-240 V compatible. Tried it in the States, Taiwan, NZ and China. Only in China (and only in some places) did it give shocks.
