First forums I posted at were the cube-europe ones, then after that I went to planetgamecube. I discovered GA because all the news always seemed to originate from here. Now, this is the only gaming site I read, seeing as all the news turns up here so fast.
I came to this forum for the gaming part of it a few years back and I cant believe I didnt check out the OT until recently. OT>*.

This is my first forum. I found out about GA at #planetgamecube when one of the ops linked to a thread here. I've lurked here off and on since about 2001 just started posting here this year.

Before that I used to frequent a lot of the irc game chats on Efnet #capcom #gamersxs and #vfhome.

Enix forum was the only one I went to before. Can still remember Hideo Sakaguchi used to always link to some news posted on GAF.

When Enix forum closed down, I signed onto here.

ive been around the net since i was 11 so 7 years or so (damn) mainly began just reading things and playing Ultima Online, posted at UO forums etc. Infact now i come to think of it I've never really posted prolifically anywhere else cept GAF which i made my home 2 decembers ago.

The name MrPing1000 is a tribute to playing TFC with shitty AOL, i think i made it up when i was 12 or so. I've also gone by the names Crillboy, Oxygen and NadeNeM3sis

Started on AOL as Trunks37 then made my way onto the palace chat program and hung out in the next generation palace and what was then known as ID's Palace. After that hung out at IGN's palace and Dreamfusion (formerly id's palace) Posted on the hardcore gaming forums and dreamcast technical pages ( think that was it, the one hosted by dural, the one you couldnt swear on) then palace kind of imploded and started hanging out in #ga thanks to mikazuki and started posting on GA about the same time.

Names

Trunks37 - AOL - 1995 (12 or 13 years old i forget)
Vegeta - First day of palace (changed after someone made a joke about vegetarians)
Trunks© - for a long time on palace
?Trunsk - until i came to GA
Trunsk - couple days on GA
Sp0rks - no one took Trunsk seriously :(
Sp0rsk - saw too many sp0rks on the internet (current 22yrs old)

Hmm.. I won't even bother posting exact dates because I'd probably be way off.

-Gamefaqs- registered a few years ago (4?), but the board setup/interface sucked, lack of being able to post pics in message annoyed the hell out of me and the fact that the average user age must be around 12 years old judging by the posts made the board less than attractive. Posted twice total.

-Blast City- since the beginning mainly posted in the gaming section like I do here, but go to witness all the drama from OT first hand heh. Still keep in contact with quite a few people from there... the Ana vs Tazz thing is still hilarious. :lol

-Gaming-age- lurked since the beginning, finally felt the need to register/post maybe a year+ before the old board went bye bye. Still don't post here much, but I read everything and take notes for future blackmail purposes.

-Cloudchaser- intermediary between BC and GA, posted quite a bit but the sig pics got out of hand to the point where they filled almost half a screen for each person... wtf?

-Console City- professional lurker, never felt the need to post but the posters/topics were always entertaining.

I must be truly old school. I ran a BBS on a C64 in 1987.
Put another BBS online (on an Amiga) from 1993-1996. (Final version was on a PC running Wildcat).
Was on AOL and Delphi back in 1994.
Got on the web in '95, but didn't really do the chat or forum thing until I started game-assault.com in 1998. (Which is still up, btw)
Been here since 2000 or so. Infrequently until 2002. And I don't post much. :)

Started on AOL (I remember when the web browser was added in version 2.0), hung out quite a bit on the old WBS, then moved on to AIM and ICQ, had some fun over on the Warren Ellis forum on Delphi before he shut it down (and shortly after Delphi turned to crap), and then I stumbled across these boards.

The GA is the only case where I've posted on a message board on a regular basis.

Oh, and the mightynine nickname comes from someone during my AOL days.

Started on AOL around 1995 (had internet connection before then but really didn't use it). I went around AOL chats: Comic Connection, Wizard Chat, Babylon 5, and then followed someone into Video Games Lounge. Had been my "home" until 2003. I visited other chats from the Antagonist Network (PSX, N64 Fortress chats, Dreamcast, War Room, RPG Bunker), Gamepro, and Enigma Gaming. Now I'm mostly in spam central AOL public chats like Sony Playstation and Nintendo Gamecube.

On forums I lurked on the Wizard (Wizard Press) site, then lurked on TheGIA forum and proceeded to the Gameforms forum. I've been on these forums for a couple of years too but haven't said too much. I'm more vocal in chats... as such, some may recognize me as De LuxSol or Ribir.
