I’d like to see them work towards a Champions set of movies with Miles, Nova, Totally Awesome Hulk, Ms Marvel and Viv Vision, but it would be a lot of work to set up and I don’t know what the Champions movie would be about.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
I think they're going to be a lot more predictable.

Spider-Man: Far From Home - Post Avengers, everyone misses Tony Stark, Spider Man's refusal of the call bundled with him meeting up with Nick Fury / Shield and will kinda be for Spider Man what Winter Soldier was for Captain America. Mysterio will claim to be a good guy, but will end up being a bad guy. Peter Parker's friends will obviously be involved and might even be "let in" on Spider Man's identity.

Black Panther 2 - Another black panther side-movie, because $$$. Might focus on how the world now knows that Wakanda exists due to the battle with Thanos being there, and will tie in with the first Black Panther movie where Tchala wanted to expand the country's cultural outreach. The bad guy will probably be someone who seems like they're trying to help at first, but will actually be trying to take over Wakanda's export economy or something. Will have a really heavy-handed message, but ticket sales will be gangbusters.

Doctor Strange 2 - Another one-off film where the stakes are relatively low but we'll discover what the extent of Doctor Strange's power is when he's stripped of the time stone. Awesome trippy visual effects like the first one. Probably paired with Captain Marvel to help shoehorn in more of her story arc. Will end with Nick Fury showing up to officially recruit Strange.

Asguardians of the Galaxy - Basically the combination of Thor: Ragnarok with Guardians of the Galaxy. Korg will be tagging along with Thor, Star Lord, Drax, Mantis, Rocket, and Groot. The soundtrack will be "old rock" like more Led Zeppelin and Boston, all played from Star Lord's new Zune MP3 player. They'll get wind that Gamora is alive (or at least they'll think it's her) but it turns out to be another of her race, maybe a sister (still played by Zoe Saldana). Thor will do something epic like establish a new Asguard or somehow bring the old one back.

Captain Falcon America - Sam takes on the mantle of Captain America, while him and Bucky work closely with Shield (continuation of the arc from Spider Man) to take on some sort of freedom-hating fictional third world dictator. Even though Falcon doesn't have any super-powers, he'll discover that taking on the name of Captain America is more about winning the hearts and minds of the people than having super human strength.

Iron Woman - Pepper Potts, along with Shield and Stark Industries, basically continues Iron Man's legacy. It'll be a cross between an origin film and established universe lore. Some worldwide threat will show up and it'll be up to Pepper to save the day. Lots of flashbacks to Tony starring Robert Downy Jr both young and old.

These movies will almost all entirely gloss over the gaping plot holes that Endgame created - they might talk about "the snap" or surviving for 5 years, but won't ever answer questions like "what about couples where one member went missing and then show up 5 years later without aging?". The absence of the infinity stones will mostly be glossed over or not talked about at all. Time travel probably won't be a huge element, even though now we know it's possible and will constantly be asking ourselves "why don't they just go back in time to change X?".

Predictable?
You predicted that Far From Home would be about the multiverse? The name of the film takes on a whole new meaning after the new trailer.

What plot holes are in Endgame? Maybe spoiler tag your answer.

MCU ended for me with Infinity War. End Game is just really crappy Dr. Who MCU crossover fanfiction. I truly must be disconnected from everything and everyone, because I don't know anybody who didn't like the film, let alone hate it, like I did. I didn't like the pacing, the plot, and I super didn't appreciate the time travel. The movie retreaded too much past ground for absolutely no pay off.

- The fate of Stark was just blegh.

- I'd argue that Sam becoming Captain America is slightly stupid because unlike Rogers or Winter Soldier he isn't super human. He's just a dude. At least give the guy some super hero serum or something.
- Hulk literally didn't punch anything that wasn't an inanimate object.

- Slightly jarring that the Thanos they ended up squaring off against wasn't the one who beat them, but his past self. While I get it's still the 'same character', it removes a lot of the emotional punch of having them beat him in a fight. Instead, the original timeline Thanos gets unceremoniously whacked in the first 15min and we spend like an hour doing nothing but dealing with the pointless 5 year timeskip and the snap aftermath. For some reason nobody has visibly aged in these 5 years, although we get graced with seeing Captain Marvel's new haircut. Surprising no one, she's still a complete pompous jerk to anybody who isn't her. Which leads me to...

- Captain Marvel remains a character that is both completely unlikable and completely over powered. Thanos couldn't even touch her without using a stone. They 'dealt with her' by not having her around, because it's clear that her existing near any place of tension or conflict would end the exact same way as if One Punch man stepped onto the scene. But at least with Saitama, the author made him super over powered by design with the inherent consequences as a plot mechanic. All 'drama' and 'tensions' doesn't come from Saitama winning the fights, but the other characters surviving until he gets there. Plus him never getting any credit. She's literally one punch man, but the authors were either not cognizant of the consequences of such a character in the MCU, didn't care, or figured the political points they'd score would somehow be worth it. Or something. She's a trash character who only shows up to save the main cast as a deus ex mechanica.

- Stupidly, the cast of Spiderman films seem to have all conveniently been snapped. Peter can just 'show up' to school after 5 years of being dead and have all of his properly aged buddies be there to greet him so he can enjoy a semi-normal HS life, presumably. Why did we have the damn time-skip again?

- Thanos pops up in the middle of CONUS, and Strange only thinks to teleport in other supers and Wakandans. Where is the US military and NATO? Thanks Dr. Strange, very cool.

- Gratuitous girl power moment. Eye rollingly bad.

- Where did past-Gamorra disappear to? I and the people I watched it with lost track of her.

This flick was such a massive step down from Infinity War.

Fan fiction?
Time travel alternate realities and the multivariate have been ingrained to the Marvel comics since forever. Fan fiction it is not.

Not in the MCU it hasn't. We're talking about the cinematic universe, not the source material. Only Dr. Strange and Ant-Man flirted with it before End Game just went nuts.

Do you remember what comic movies were like prior to 2008? They were basically all grounded in reality. The MCU films started by being grounded in reality but with advanced technology. General audiences wouldn't accept time travel and multiple realises back then. Marvel Studios did the smart thing and slowly introduced the cosmic side with Thor and Avengers 1. Audiences accepted it so they went all out with GOTG. They introduced magic in Doctor Strange and general audiences accepted it again.

Marvel Studios understood that it's audience were basically happy to travel and accept anything in MCU films. They dived right in with Endgame and they have opened so many possibilities it's incredible.

Audiences would have found magic, time travel and the Multiverse extremely hard to swallow back in 2008. Slowly opening up all the pillars of the Marvel comics has been a genius move.

It isn't for all of us. MCU ended for me with Infinity War.

I’d really like to see Natalie Portman come back as Jane Foster. Today I watched Thor 1 & 2 for the first time and really enjoyed her character. I haven’t seen the third one yet but I know she’s not in it and it makes me sad.

I understand that you may not like it.
But something I completely forgot to mention.
Doctor Strange and Ant-Man both hinted at the Multiverse. It's always been an intended direction they have wanted to go.
Doctor Strange literally travelled through it.

I thought the multi-verse was a DC thing. I used to buy a lot of comics from both DC and Marvel and I can’t for the life of me, remember any of the marvel comics do multi-verse stuff. DC did, and they did it a lot. It was one of the selling features of buying DC over Marvel. DC had mulitverse and legacy characters. marvel was cool and contemporary.

Ultimate Universe
2099
Age of Apocalypse
Marvel Noir
Age of Ultron
Earth X
Time displaced characters

I think it was in the 80's where it started. Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and the X-Men have always had to deal with other universes,
The Secret Wars event from a few years ago had characters from different universes come together as well.

I’m familiar with your examples and have read some of them, but I always though of age of apocalypse as an alternate timelines and the ultimate universe just being a different comic book line. (Ultimate Fantastic Four might of done some traveling through different worlds, i can’t remember, it’s been so long since I read some of that run)
I also totally forgot about earth X. Thanks
