Sounds great, although if that last teaser bit that looked like real gameplay was showing where they are so far (Ryu throwing a fireball), then this game still needs a lot of work because that shot was uncharacteristically rough for Capcom-quality animation.

the vs. games don't really have the same attention to animation as other capcom games
hell everything chains into everything else anyway

Wouldn't mind, but it's especially long since we've seen X in action. Imagine if his Level 3 involved his Ultimate Armor from X4-6.

And hey, if anything would hep generate hype for the X series again, so that it would get Capcom to stop draggin' their asses and give us X9 (....or Irregular Hunter X2, at least...), so much the better.

Haven't you seen the poster? It does have Shinkiro art and its all the worse because of it. I'm not saying Shinkiro sucks, but I can think of several artists that would be a lot more fitting for this game with Kinu Nishimura topping the list.

Actually those guys took it back closer (and past) the Kane/Finger version of Batman then he had been in a long while during the Silver and Bronze Age.

If Liefeld created comics, and his comics are bad, then yeah he is a horrible creator. Now he isnt the devil like some people made him out to be and he wasnt the only person to make a bad comic during the 90s but just cause he was popular doesnt mean he is a good creator. Frankly, his shit sucked and he has never improved.
