I'm convinced they taste differently.

Can?

Glass bottle?
Plastic bottle?
Personally I prefer can. What about you?

McDonalds Coke is the correct answer, theirs taste better than any other fountain coke for some reason.

Can otherwise. Glass bottle Mexican Coke is good but costs way too much.

Can, although I don't think I've had any pop that comes in both cans and glass bottles (glass is always cane sugar) so I can't really give a fair comparison there. But when it's in plastic bottle it never tastes quite right.

For beer, it tastes better in a bottle when I have the option. Not sure why.

Glass
First three sips from can
Plastic first half
Subsequent can sips
Plastic second half

Caveat: Coke Zero in Plastic is pretty good.

Glass bottles are top tier, especially with real sugar. The taste of coke in Costa Rica is godlike. Plastic bottles are trash.

European canned. Loved it when I was on vacation there in September, and I'm not even a big fan if it in the states (even the Mexican glass bottle kind is just OK).

Plastic bottle Coke has always been my least favorite.

Bottle for mexican coke, can for domestic. Never been a fan of the plastic bottles. The metal blends well with the taste of the US version, and the glass really accentuates the regional differences in Mexican Coke, which is more than just the cane sugar.

Can, and i live in Mexico. Is just that can always feel so refreshing and carbonated, you cant drink for more than 1 second without your eyes watering.

i never knew this was a thing until i met my wife who INSISTS that fountain soda is king

then glass bottle

then cans (but only to hear the "pop" when it opens)
