which color mustang should i snag?

All black Mustangs are ugly.

Even though I'm not too big a fan of light blues on cars, the windveil blue/satin silver is the best looking one, in my opinion. Oh, and be sure to get the mag wheels with it.
 
i'm not getting a black car again. paint swirls too easily. even if still shiny. i hate it. i'm likeing the windveil and red most although eleanor is tempting.

i still have 2/3 months. tax return and bonus from work are gonna help pay. this lady i work for sometimes got one today. ordered it way back in october. after being in hers and then getting in my car, my car was pure shit. i wanted to just crash it and get it over with.
 
The top 2 would be my choices but I would lean more to the satin silver/sonic blue. Im also considering getting one these bad boys next year.
 
what fucking odd is that the older body style base model is still selling like mad. 05GTs are rare but 05v6 is a breeze to get and kids dont want em. i guess they dont like the retro. i'm in love with it. the roush model is SICK.

WINDVEIL BLUE
 
I'd get the ugliest color available, the one that nobody else would buy. Because within a couple years, you're going to be joined by thousands and thousands and THOUSANDS of other Mustang owners, and you'll have a hard time picking yours out of the crowd.

The new Mustang -- it's nice now, but it'll soon be ubiquitous, and we all know what familiarity breeds.
 
Get the invisible colored one. The Stang is already fucking played out. It went from novel to whored in about a month. And not by a gang of tattooed, hot-rodding badasses either. But by a bunch of chicks rediscovering their youth. It looks nice in pics, but it didn't translate so well to the road IMO.

What was your last car, a Taurus or something? I forget, but I think you posted a pic next to your car once. If you're hellbent on getting a Stang, I like the silver with blue stripes. I got no problem with stripes. They look cool so long as everyone else in the world doesn't have the same thing. But in a couple of years, when every Sue, Tracy and Sally is driving one, and you're just another lame-o Stang with the stripes at the lights, then it's gonna suck more than the massive depreciation you'll see in the first few years. :P ;) I kid, I kid. I just really hate the Rustangs since they abandoned this most awesome of Mustang's, the Mustang GT 5.0:

You bastard! :) Satin silver/sonic blue (eleanor paint scheme) if you have to get one with stripes. I know you said you're against it, but solid black would be my first pick. I've got it now and there's nothing that looks better when it's nice and clean. I'm so tempted to trade in my '00 GT, but it's really nice not to have any car payments.

Pimpwerx, I can see your point, but won't it be the same if he drives pretty much any other car? So he can either be in a Focus with lots of others driving one, or a Mustang with lots of others driving one. So why not just pick the one he wants?

I say just enjoy yourself. I'm probably selling my WRX and going back to a BM for a couple of years while my finances settle down. Already shat at least £6k from depreciation and mods. Still, fun while it lasted.
 
I don't like Mustangs...and I really don't like the new model they just came out with. That Roush model is fucking awesome though...probably like $50K.
 
I agree all black (no ugly stripes) is the way to go, but from your choices... The grey, with satin silver stripes, is the best choice. I've always liked gun metalish colors. So yeah.
 
It doesn't matter what color you get, it's still going to look ridiculous with that Sega license plate you have.

Getting a stang and having a plate say Sega Fan is like beating the shit out of some guy who is twice your size, but then getting beat down by a retarded girl with no legs.

Get your plates changed first.

Hehe, I was busting his balls. No one had hated on the car yet, and I figured it was about due. :P It's a nice enough car, and a definite step in the right direction from the last abortion. But just ripping off old ideas is lame. And while it looks good in pics, it doesn't translate well to the street. On the street, it still smells of sports coupe. It's really about the GT IMO, otherwise the Mustang looks like the female car line for the company.

What were Evilore's warnings? Have you test driven one yet?

I'm sure one complaint is the rear-end. Still the solid axle, but it is improved over the 99-04 IMO.

was already gonna do that but not for your reasons. simply because sega sucks these days. i'm gonna keep the plates tho and say someone "stole" them. :lol as far as the "bitch car" comments, you guys dont pay attention to which ones the women drive do you? almost every single time i see a female driving a mustang its a V6 or a V6 convertible. thats not a real damn mustang. V6=female version, GT=man power.
