Which N64 games, if ported to the DS, would you buy?

We know Nintendo's going to do at least a few more.

I already bought Mario 64 DS, and I know many of you have. But which other 64 games would you get? Would you want them 'remixed' a la Mario?

I'd probably get Goldeneye/Perfect Dark (loved both games, but would prefer perfect Dark - let's not limit ourselves to Nintendo!), especially if it could do a higher framerate, wireless multiplayer, and an adequate control scheme.

Even though Ocarina of Time is the Best Game Ever (tm), I'd probably actually pass on this one, unless it was seriously remixed - I mean, I already bought twice more in the form of Wind Waker bonus and Collector's edition.

I'd do pilot wings, but would prefer a new one.

I dunno, Blast Corps I guess.

The N64 Zeldas couldn't work, not enough buttons! Unless they use the touch screen for the C-weapons or something (though it would probably be used for "analog" control).

Beetle Adventure Racing
Banjo-Kazooie
Wave Race
Blast Corps
Goldeneye

Of course, they would all need to be updated at least as much as the Mario 64 port, and the controls would have to be good.

Banjo Kazooie, Wireless Diddy Kong Racing, Blast Corps, Wireless Perfect Dark

I can't believe this generation is almost over and we've seen practically nothing from Rare, what the fuck happened to them?

Off the top of my head:

Conker's Bad Fur Day
Ogre Battle 64 (but there already is an Ogre Battle coming, no?)
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (again, already a Goemon DS?)
Legend of Zelda (MM and OOT) :P
Maybe Quest 64? I'm sure something can be fixed!

A Smash Brothers port with Wi-Fi support would be awesome. Might make me re-buy the thing (as long as my friends bought DS's too, SSB single player isn't that fun).

I think we need to go beyond a port with Smash Bros., because the DS can push more polys, so we could see more detailed character models at the very least.

haha...looks like everyone want a bit of Rare loving...

Seriously, though, some of you would buy these games again?

Then again, if OoT DID come out, I'd probably just buy it anyway, just for the sake of having it...

1. Majora's Mask and OOT with a 3D Four Swords quest in one cart and with touched up graphics like Mario DS. :D

2. Wave Race DS with some new tracks and one cart multiplayer.

3. Any AKI wrestling game. No Def Jam shit. I want something that plays like No Mercy.

4. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

5. Mario Tennis

Beetle Adventure Racing.

I'll mention this every time I get the chance: I loved that game and it deserves a sequal. Or fine, at least a remake/remix on the DS.

Goldeneye/PD
JFG
Diddy Kong Racing
Blast Corps
Winback
Pokemon Snap
Paper Mario (fuck that though, I'd rather Alphadream make a sequel to Mario and Luigi)
Wave Race
OoT (forget that though, a new 3D WW-series Zelda using the Four Sword :o)
Mario Tennis
Sin and Punishment
Smash Bros
Starfox 64
Beetle Adventure Racing
SF Rush 2
F-Zero X (perhaps a new F-Zero entry using an upgraded N64 engine?)
Mega Man 64 (fuck you haters, Dash = love :o)
Excitebike

None. I'm not gonna pay $40 for a game I already own. I protest dammit! The only GBA game I own that's a port is Breath of Fire 2, and that's cause I found it for cheap (and the SNES version isn't cheap). Everything else is GBA only games, so of course my GBA library is small. So screw DS ports!

HOWEVER, if they used the No Mercy engine to remake an 'updated' DS WWE game, I would be all for that. Sue me, I'm a hypocrite.

Wow do you want any new content on the DS?

Personally I would rather see no Ports but brand new games based on N64 titles, I can go to a pawn shop with $50-100 and buy a N64 and all the games listed in this thread.

Sin & Punishment
Goldeneye/Perfect Dark with improved framerate and wifi multiplayer
Conker with wifi multi
Pokemon Snap

Yay for Snowboard Kids DS!

I don't think so. :lol

Star Fox 64
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Killer Instinct Gold
F-Zero X
Wave Race 64
Blast Corps
Perfect Dark
GoldenEye
Sin & Punishment
Paper Mario

I think I'd have to get those. Dunno how well Wave Race would work without the analog though.

And obviously having new levels/features for each game would be nice.

If Nintendo ever does eventually get an online "Nintendo Network" I do hope they open up their back catalog of NES/SNES/N64 titles.

I don’t know what it’s like where you live but in Australia I have seen oodles of N64 games at pawn shops; I could easily get most games listed in this thread. Defiantly the Nintendo and Rare games.

I was able to pick up a swag of great NES games from $2 -$10aus ($7US) just a few months ago.

Unless you were talking about the “new content” . :lol

I meant stuff like Sin & Punishment and Ogre Battle 64 which are ridiculously hard to find in game stores/pawn shops in the US (S&P was only a Japanese release, OB64 never came out in PAL regions), let alone Australia (unless people there are absolutely crazy, desperate, or stupid). Even on Ebay, those two alone will cost $60-$75. [/nitpicking]

I think Forsaken (R.I.P. Aklaim) would benefit of the touchscreen control, I loved multiplayer in that game. And I'd like to try Sin and Punishment since I never did.

If they ported WWF No Mercy with complete rosters from 2000 - 2003 and Beetle Adventure Racing, I would buy 10 DS's just to thank them.

Wipeout 64, but with all of CoLD SToRAGE's music, in stereo.
Yes their music was always awesome, and being directly tied to the game increases the lifespan a hundred times over.

CoLD SToRAGE = Tim (can't remember his last name).

There's a possibility he's doing something for Wipeout Pure as well. Amazing to think that he carried the first game's music so well, save for a couple of tracks on the Saturn version performed by other artists.

Blast Corps definitely.
Zelda: OoT is a must have.
Road Rash 64 because that game just owned. SPOKE JAM!
Goldeneye (or Perfect Dark)
Star Fox 64

Zelda: OoT. I would kill for that or Doom 64.
There was a Doom game for N64?

I would buy The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (best game ever!!!!1), Snowboard Kids and Wave Race.
By the way: I hated Blast Corps and i would never buy ít for DS :)
