Which next gen systems will you be getting?

xbox 360 at launch and as my main console and probably ps3 after it has gotten a good library of exclusives. The way Sony treats Europe like shit with game and console releases, I guess it will take some time.

If the Revolution launches with some good stuff I want I'm going to get one at launch, I'm definitely getting PS3, but I think I'll have to pass on the first batch though.

Revolution at launch (possibly Jap launch) and PS3, but probably will wait a bit after launch to get that. Going to skip the Xbox this time around.

PS3 and X360 are a lock. I haven't had interest in a Nintendo console since the departure of the SNES, that and I wouldn't have the time to play 3 consoles.

The timeframe for when I get the systems is highly variable. I'll probably bite and get the 360 once it's first MLB game is out, along w/ Oblivion. PS3 will depend on the games available at the time. If there isn't a blockbuster title at launch, I'm going to do my best to wait for a system price drop (I did the exact same thing this generation, only in reverse).

PS3 and possibly Revolution depending on the controller/gimmick and whether or not ill be able to download and play chrono trigger on it :D

Phantom...

I keed, I keed. But it's a bit early to tell. You can have the idea what's the xbox360 and PS3 all about, but I'm still waiting for what's the Revolution going to bring. At this stage, I think I'll be going for the PS3 and maybe the Revolution depending on what's really all that special about it (the NES etc downloads don't do it for me yet)

All of them eventually. X360 and PS3 likely at launch...Revolution a year later or so (depends on if the 3rd party pickings are the same as the GC) to allow it time to build up a decent library.

Most definitely NOT the x360. Badly designed case, boring games from what i've seen, launching too early, and no interesting features/services.

Undecided on PS3 and Rev.

If they are spaced out enough, all 3. If they get clumped too close then sorry rev, I can do without Mario for a few months until I save up.

I'm saving up for a long vacation to Japan, so I won't get any console at launch. I'll get Revolution for sure, probably a PS3 later, maybe 360 if there's something on it which I really want to play.

PS3 is a definite. My collection of PlayStation and PS2 games is too much of an investment to not get one. Probably not at launch, though.

Revolution has my interest, but I need to know more before I commit. Retro game download service is a plus, but I repurchased a whole lot of NES and Super NES games over the last few years.

Xbox 360? Not unless there are some spectacular exclusives. Two is my limit.

PS3 - at launch, I love jRPGs and MGS, DMC etc.

Revolution - probably (right now it's 10% that I will), Mario 128 is the deal breaker, not some Sunshine 2 crap

360 - when it offers something more than PC ports or stolen PC games, so probably... never.

Hopefully an Asia Xbox360 since Duckroll says there are quick straight english releases (full english) of all the major US xbox games in Asia + it plays Japanese xbox games. If x360 is a repeat of this it saves the $$$ of buying 2 consoles.

2 PS3s; 1 at Japan launch, and a US one whenever they get some really good western games + maybe a price cut.

1 Japanese Revolution at launch. Unless there is some big push towards western support next-gen, I don't see any need for a US Rev. Plus if it's anything like their history of consoles it will be really really easy to mod to play both regions.

Hopefully with this plan wallet stays happy for most of 2005, and the 2006 releases should be spread around enough to survive. ^^;

Revolution only. After being a multi machine owner, I am a one console and one handheld man. So its going to be GC and PSP now, RVN and GBN next gen.

I'll buy 2 at launch and one a few months (up to a half a year) after...though this is obviously subject to change :b

I'm planning to pick up a Revolution for sure at launch; that download ability ensures plenty of good software right from the start. As for the other two, I'm going to wait until some good Japanese RPG's are released (in the US) before I bother. Last generation, my PS2 didn't get much activity until Final Fantasy X was released anyways, so I've decided it's not worth the investment untill there's something to play.

Whatever machine(s) get the new Zelda, Metroid and Metal Gear games, everything else is just a bonus.

Those are the only games i must have, and the systems will be bought the day these games come out, so hopefullty that means after the first price drop. :)

I'm probably going to stick with one system next-gen, whether that's X360 or PS3 is still up in the air. There's a lot of unknown factors, so I'll just wait it out and see where my money is better spent.

Same here.

X360 at launch and probably a PS3 whenever RE5 or David Jaffe's next game comes out. I need to know more about the revolution before I make up my mind one way or another.

revolution? :lol
What he said. Minus the :lol. I mean, it's purdy and all, but I'm a conservatist and I don't like revolution. As a matter of fact, Che Guevara, fuck you.
