Summary of Nurturers
Care for the important people in their lives
Strive for harmony and avoid confrontation
Think of themselves as gentle, conscientious, and mature
May have trouble making decisions that could hurt others

More about Nurturers
Nurturers are quiet people who believe in order and diligently look after the people they care about. They focus on the needs of others and establish routines to help them meet their commitments.

Nurturers remember details that are important to them, such as their friends' birthdays and anniversaries. People with this personality type value others' feelings and may challenge behaviour they think is insensitive.

In situations where they can't use their talents or are unappreciated, Nurturers may feel bitter and seek support by complaining to their colleagues. Under extreme stress, Nurturers may become preoccupied with the worst possible outcome and believe that they are heading for disaster.

Because they are so caring and loyal, Nurturers run the risk of being taken advantage of.

Nurturer Careers
Nurturers are often drawn to jobs that allow them to help others.

Lame. Dedicated to helping others? Pssshhh. People can go fuck themselves.

Seriously, this got me all wrong. I am not a planner AT ALL, and yet it said I was. :(

Question 10 kinda sucked, I didn't have any of the reactions it stated. I just appreciated it as art, thought it was pretty, though I know the last option is the only one I would have done if I stuck with it long enough so I picked that.

Overall though this was a very good test. Other tests usually ask questions that are affected by my religious beliefs, so it comes out saying I'm a concrete thinker when I'm really an intuitive feeler, I just try to balance it out with my religious convictions.

It said I'm an innovator.

-Energetic and creative taking inspiration from everyone they meet
-Enjoy flexible work environments with few rules and many opportunities for fun
-Think of themselves as imaginative, sociable and sympathetic
-May not think logically about their ideas. (note: I dont to form them but do after I get them and work out the details, part of being very right-brained)

It's full description of me is dead on and it's description of what type of careers that would best suit me is perfectly descriptive of what I have been doing for the last several years and what I want to do in the future. This test would have been more helpful a couple years ago though, I've only more recently realized these things about myself. Oh well, thats what the college years are for.

Check this out (and it's related links) for stuff about right/left brain dominance. It was very revealing for me, though not everyone has a dominant side, it can go either way to different degrees or in a pretty close balance. Pretty cool stuff though, especially if one side is very dominant for you.

Your answers suggest you are an Innovator

The four aspects that make up this personality type are:
Summary of Innovators

* Energetic and creative taking inspiration from everyone they meet
* Enjoy flexible work environments with few rules and many opportunities for fun
* Think of themselves as imaginative, sociable and sympathetic
* May not think logically about their ideas

More about Innovators

Innovators are fun-loving, creative, sensitive people who enjoy developing their ideas by discussing them with others. This group supports the people around them and expects the same in return. Others are drawn to Innovators because of their love of life, caring nature and openness.

Innovators are good at spotting opportunities and recognizing potential in people. Innovators put all their energy into new projects and their enthusiasm motivates others to support their plans.

In situations where they can’t use their talents or are unappreciated, Innovators may become rebellious and unfocused. Under extreme stress, Innovators may become preoccupied with meaningless details.

Innovators may over-extend themselves or put a night out with friends ahead of more pressing commitments.
Innovator Careers

Innovators are drawn to careers that require teaching or counselling, where they can work with and help encourage the development of others.

Overall results

The graph below shows the percentage of people with each personality type out of everyone who has taken this test.

"Innovators are most likely to say they do their best work when they start at the last minute, according to a UK survey."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hmm, I know I'm pretty unorganized, messy, and never plan ahead, and I do try to be idealistic. That said, I used to be a HUGE extrovert-personlity in high school as I look back, but that kinda changed in college, where I'm more reserved and less adventrous.

it's true that I think sometimes I work great in last minute situations, no matter how true/untrue that really is. I know I always procrastinate, especially with tests. My diff eq. final exam I didn't start studying till like 12 hours before, but I ended up with a B. Somehow, I always throw in some kind of spurt of somewhat-getting the material that I end up doing well.

I am likely to put personal satisfaction/entertainment/gaming ahead of more important things, that's true.

I am very sympathetic, and I end up feeling bad for people out of nowhere sometimes. I do like more laid-back, flexible environments, where things aren't always 100% by-the-book.

I do try to think logically though, and sometimes I contemplate decisions more way too long, deciding whether I should weigh pros/cons or go with my gut. I hate making big decisions. I used to love theatre/music, less practical/logical subjects, but the truth is, I'm pretty decent at math and logical stuff just on my own, and when I put some effort, I'm pretty good.

IMO the poll is too simple, but provides at least a guide as to a part of you. I think depending on the day and what situations/memories come to mind, I'd probably answer differently...

Summary of Resolvers

* Good at getting to the heart of a problem and quickly finding a solution
* Make rational decisions using the facts available
* Think of themselves as understanding, stable and easy-going
* May focus on short-term results and lose sight of the big picture

More about Resolvers

Resolvers are independent people who quietly learn how things work by analysing large amounts of information. Should a problem arise, they solve it with as little fuss as possible. Resolvers are only interested in abstract ideas, if they can be used to solve a problem quickly.

Resolvers like to take risks: Many of them seek jobs and pastimes that put them in harms way and guarantee an adrenaline rush.

Resolvers have changed jobs most frequently since leaving full-time education, according to a UK survey.

Resolvers are often tolerant of behaviour different to their own as long as their values aren't compromised. They sometimes give the impression that they agree with other peoples' viewpoints because they don't actively disagree.

In situations where they can't use their talents or are unappreciated, Resolvers may become cynical, negatively critical or put off decisions. Under extreme stress, Resolvers could be prone to inappropriate, tearful outbursts.

Resolvers are quiet and sometimes it is difficult to get to know them; however, they often talk freely about subjects they understand well.
Resolver Careers

Resolvers are often drawn to hands-on jobs that require an analytical mind and careful organisation of large amounts of data.

Mine said Mastermind.

I'm sort of like that but not totally. It's interesting but I would've answered some of the questions differently than the choices given on the test.

Well I think everyone will adjust depending on different situations. Like it's question of the phone call, or how much you talk and whatever else, I know those differ for me depending on who it is I'm talking to. I can adjust to the needs of different environments very well and most people do, but I think this test describes how you work best and what kind of environments you are happiest in.

For me it's description isn't exactly fitting of the things I do all the time, because if something needs to be done a different way (logically sorted out, school work, etc) ultimately you will. But when it comes to the true nature of my heart, what really gets me going, how I am in my group of closest friends, why they are my closest friends and I love them so much, etc. it was extremely accurate. It really described the core of how I work, and while I can adjust to work differently and do it well, it is unnatural and I'd be happier doing something else.

Same as Boogie. Fucking stupid. I'm not spontaneous, I do things a certain way and have for my entire life. But no, I don't make extremely detailed shopping lists, which this whole survey seemed obsesssed with.

Another "Idealist" here - a.k.a. INFP in Meyer-Briggs. I think that INFPs are very over-represented on these tests, though, because, of all the personality types, they are the most likely to be interested in taking a personality test. That being said, they're also over-represented on message boards too - you never meet as many INFPs in real life as you do online. At best I'd say they're about 1 in 50 in the "real world".

Summary of Supervisors:

Bring order to their home and work life
Like to act on clear, achievable goals
Think of themselves as stable, practical and sociable
May be irritated when people don't follow procedures
More about Supervisors
Supervisors like to make plans, organise people and get things done efficiently. They are natural administrators who dislike chaos and strive to bring order to every aspect of their lives. Supervisors like jobs where the goals are clearly defined and there are proven work methods in place.

Supervisors are most likely to say they prefer a job which involves a series of separate projects, according to a UK survey.
Supervisors use logic to solve problems and believe in being open and direct in their communications with others. They prefer to work and socialise with like-minded people.

In situations where they can't use their talents or are unappreciated, Supervisors may reject the opinions of others and insist they are right. Under extreme stress, Supervisors may feel cut off from the people around them and lose confidence in their own ability to cope.

Because they like to take charge and organise activities, others may find Supervisors too bossy.

Supervisor Careers
Supervisors are often drawn to jobs in management or administration that require logical planning.

More about Masterminds
Masterminds create a vision for the future by gathering and organising information. They then develop strategies to achieve their goals. Mastermind is the least common personality type in the UK, according to a nationwide survey.
Masterminds value independence and prefer to work on their own. Once they have decided on a course of action, Masterminds rarely change their minds, although they can be persuaded by clear reasoning by someone they respect.
