For me its has to be Xenoblade 3.

Probably FFVII Reunion + Rebirth. Can't wait to hear the rearranged versions of beloved tracks and even a few new surprises as well. They killed with the main bosses' tracks on the Remake.

Ys X. After that, like most, FFVII music. Kingdom Hearts IV should be good. And the GOAT of music, Sonic Frontiers of course.

Tough one. Probably Starfield (loved the Skyrim soundtrack), but I'm also looking forward to hearing the FF OSTs.
Same. Though Inon Zur has worked on the Fallout games for Bethesda (he is composing for Starfield). Fallout 3 to Fallout 4 was a significant improvement. F4's soundtrack is fantastic actually and has a lot of great themes and motifs.

Starfield already has a great theme so I'm looking forward to hearing the rest Inon Zur has composed for the game!

Dragon's Dogma 2. Curious to see what they use for the title/menu theme.

Project Eve. Should have some great songs judging by the initial trailer.

Also, The Elder Scrolls VI which is still a ways off, but these games always have some good music, especially the themes.

Definitely on the list.

Add the following:
Final Fantasy XVI
Sonic Frontiers
TMNT: Shredder's Revenge (Now on Spotify and done by Tee Lopes, so it will be good).
Kingdom Hearts IV

Really curious about Soul Hackers 2. Mainline SMTs always have banger OSTs, so I'm eager to listen to some of it, specially the battle tracks.

Also yeah, Dragon's Dogma 2 for sure.

Starfield for sure.
I might be wrong, but isn't Jeremy Soule, Skyrim's OST composer, not longer working with Bethesda anymore? I'm sure the music will be good, but I'll miss that man.

I'm not looking forward to whatever they do with RE4. It's going to be another soup of uneventful and unmemorable drone music.

Original is full of masterpieces with this save room track being one of the best ambient tracks ever recorded:

My first thought on hearing that track was the village at night with Ashley in tow. Lovely to hear that soothing, peaceful music in the midst of all that tension.

OT: Final Fantasy XVI. The song from the original trailer really blew me away and I'm looking forward to hearing more.

For this year Xenoblade 3 for sure.
Any soundtrack Yasunori Mitsuda is involved with instantly gets my attention. XBC1 and 2 had great music and if these previews are any indication Xeboblade 3 will be just as good in that regard.
By that same logic I'm also looking forward to Sea of Stars which will also have some tracks by Mitsuda. Can't make a Chrono Trigger inspired RPG without great music.

For the future definitely FFVII Rebirth. The ost was one of my favorite things about part 1 so I'm looking forward to what they'll do with the sequel.
Starfield should be great too, Bethesda usually has good music and I like space/sci fi themed orchestral music.

I'm also interested in how Hogwarts legacy will turn out. The music became such an iconic part of the movies and franchise in general that I hope they don't cheapen out with the game. It's probably not going to be John Williams tier but I hope it's good.

Like minds. X3 all the way. Mitsuda's compositions are easily some of my favorite video game music.

Starfield.
Halo and Bethesda's WRPGs always have the best soundtracks and what we've heard so far for Starfield is really good.

Looking at everyone's answers has me excited for all of them. Game OST's have really been especially strong in the last four or five years and I'm glad that it's being prioritized more.
