I'd purchase Mario 3D World on Switch. There's nothing else I want from the Wii, or at least, not ported in the same state as their existing Western releases.

Can we please have a port of the ports. LOL
Without the second screen support, it would be a downgrade.
Yep, even the Wii U version was downgraded because of the Switch. Most Switch versions of Wii U ports are downgrades from the Wii U version for this reason.
The worst is probably Breath of the Wild because they pulled all the 2 screen support the game was clearly designed around even from the Wii U version.
I want Ogre Battle 64.
I mean, Nintendo did publish it when it came out on the N64 originally (even though Atlus developed with Nintendo)...and it was re-released on the Wii U, so it's a legit pick...
...right?
Mario Maker should count as a new game.None. Make new games. Best game on Wii U is Pikmin 3 though.
As long as they include a full set of new Nintendo-made levels, I'd agree. However, I guess it's not on Switch, because the Switch has no resistive touchscreen, which is the optimal way to control the level editor.Mario Maker should count as a new game.
Seriously why hasn't this thing hit the Switch yet?
You can get capacitive-tipped pens, though. As long as they include a full set of new Nintendo-made levels, I'd agree. However, I guess it's not on Switch, because the Switch has no resistive touchscreen, which is the optimal way to control the level editor.
Tell that to Splatoon, damned game had it's best feature removed! Like Splatwoon while the change would certainly impact a large part of the game, at least the gameplay would not be impacted. I am confident a much more active userbase would be plenty of incentive for level creators to put in the extra effort that would be required. As long as they include a full set of new Nintendo-made levels, I'd agree. It's a case of "it's better than nothing". I have yet to use a capcitive pen that comes close to precision and speed of a resisitive one, but for the context of Mario Maker, they would suffice. You can get capacitive-tipped pens, though.
What if Nintendo shipped the game with one inside? It would help justify a third port of the same title.
Tbh I’d rather have an HD port of the 3DS’ 3D Mario Land because it remains far superior to 3D world.
