Tommy Chong: Whitney Houston would still be alive if she 'stuck to pot'

Tommy Chong, of “Cheech & Chong” fame, says Whitney Houston would be still be alive today if she had used natural substances.

“Had she just stuck to pot, she’d be alive today,”
the actor-comedian told Access Hollywood on Monday night at “The Simpsons” 500th episode celebration.

“It’s when you get into that other stuff ... The trouble with that other stuff is that you forget you’re high. You think you’re taking a bath and you’re not. You’re under the water. It’s a sad, sad thing,” he continued.

NJ has put their flags at half staff for Whitney....... that is just WRONG. They dont do that for any soldiers
WRONG

They do that for all NJ soldiers that died, and also for saxophonist Clarence Clemons. In fact, Christie alone has ordered it for over 30 servicemen killed in combat. So many of my FB friends posting this false nonsense, yet they wouldn't bat an eye if there were a similar tribute for Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi.

I can't help but roll my eyes.

Clive Davis is making me tear up again. This man was ride-or-die for Whitney, even through the bad years. You don't see that kind of loyalty in the music industry.

More info regarding Bobby's departure

NEWARK, N.J. (CBS/AP) Yes, Whitney Houston's ex-husband, singer Bobby Brown, was at the funeral. But no, he didn't stay.

Brown arrived as the service began. He walked to the casket, touched it and walked to the back of the New Jersey church Saturday, the AP is reporting.

Security guards were saying Brown would be seated but the nine-person entourage that accompanied him were led to seats elsewhere. Instead, Brown left and appeared upset.

The Newark Star-Ledger is quoting a person familiar with the situation in reporting that Brown wanted his entourage to sit with him in the family section.

Speculation on whether Brown would be at the funeral has been bubbling all week, with some reports claiming the family did not want him there. A publicist later said he had been invited. Brown is scheduled to perform tonight at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Conn.
"They were asked to leave," the person said, referring to the entourage. Brown was not asked to leave, but "he left with the other people," according to the person, who was not at liberty to discuss the situation publicly.

Houston died Feb. 11. A cause of death hasn't been determined.

Houston and Brown were married 15 years and have one daughter, Bobbi Kristina. In 2003, police responding to a domestic violence call about Brown found Houston with a cut lip and bruised cheek. Their tumultuous relationship ended with a 2007 divorce.

Well, here they don't do it all the time for soldiers, nor fallen officers even, but the one mayor asked to put down the flags for her and he got shit on by the community big time. The best was listening to the radio stations and college kids calling in saying they should do it for her, because she was "just as valuable as any officer or soldier", lol... Sure she is.
