if there were an award for "Most Wasted Potential in a Videogame", that award would unanimously go to resident evil online. unfuckingbelieveable that capcom could mess up a "gimme" game like RE Online, but they managed to do it once, and they will indeed do it again with file #2.

That there sounds like an idea.

I love the concept of RE Outrbeak, was just bummed when I realised it had circa-96 gameplay mechanics and the online aspect seemed half-assed...

File 2's an alright game, but virtually nothing has been improved over File 1 except picking any scenario you want.

I'll probably pick it up at some point. I enjoyed the first one. Nothing says teamwork like barricading your teammates out of the escape route. Or chewing on them as a zombie after they leave you for dead.
